A question about PS'S....

I will be traveling to WDW on Oct 13-18. I understand that I will need to make ressies as of July 13th (the 3 month window). The catch is that I don't know how many we'll be. It is certain there will be 3 of us, but perhaps as many as 7. If I book for seven and then have to change will I loose my PS?
(What time is Wishes so that I can make a ressie at the California Grill??)

If I book for seven and then have to change will I loose my PS?

What we have done in the past is book for the maximum possible group that may show up, and when we check in at the podium for the PS, just tell them how many will actually be there. It is very easy for them to seat less than what you requested, but not more.
