The organization that sponsors this board, are they an independent group or are they a subsidiary of Disney? Do they offer pricing better than the DCL website? What websites/TA groups have you found to be the better place to book? Has anyone ever booked with DCL through Cruise One, if so what was your experience like? :chat:

I used Mouse Ear vacations with awesome results for our January 21, 2006 cruise. I will be using FL Tours for our transportation since I received a nice discount by becoming a DIS sponsor.

I just booked a cruise with DU and their group rate was almost 1000 less than DCL's current rate, so yes they can give you better prices.

I think I read somewhere that you have have to have a WDW annual pass to book with DU is that true?

I don't think you do, I've gotten quotes from them and we get emails from them since we apply for military rates..but we live in Ohio and wouldn't ever be able to get an annual pass... they do have excellent rates and so does magic for less and mouse ear vacations...

Definitely not, I have booked with them, and they are FAB-U-LOUS!!!!!!

Dreams Unlimited is the sponsor of this board. They are a travel agency and are not affiliated with Disney.

Dreams offers discounted rates on certain sail dates. Every cruise booked thru Dreams receives a rebate based on the price of the cruise. :flower:

You do not need to have an Annual Pass to book with Dreams. However, if you are an AP holder, they'll look for Annual Passholder discounts on your behalf should they become available for your travel dates. :flower:

We've used Dreams Unlimited for a number of cruises and trips and they are wonderful!

You don't need an Annual Pass to book through them, but they do ask you if you have one. That way if there are any discounts available using the Annual Pass (on resort rooms or with land/sea vacations) they will get that for you.

and then booked with DU because they had the group rate for my sailing.
That was THE KEY to it. DCL, AAA, Sam's Club/Walmart, Costco, you name it...they were all within just a few bucks of each other, if not the same.
And no, you don't need an annual pass to use DU.

I contact DU for a quote a couple of weeks ago and it was the same as the DCL website price. Shop around - we found out early on in our DCL cruising that you can always find a better price than what is on the DCL website.

I just got a quote from DU and was disappointed to find that they were the same price as DCL. They had an advertised discount for the cruise date we wanted, but I guess they must have sold out on that discount, because the quote I got was several $100 higher. :confused3 I will definitely shop around. But if I can't get a better deal, I'll probably just go with DU. I've heard a lot of good things about them.
