A question about my reservation

We currently have a room only reservation in June. If I want to add tickets, can I convert it to a package or do I have to just buy tickets seperately. I currently have a credit with WDW because I have paid off our room, can I just keep adding money to our reservation until we have the massive credit that we need to get our tickets or does it not work like that? Am I making sense?

you can do any of those things, you can just purchase tickets in advance from Disney store or various other places, you can decide to add a package in which case you just call and do it, you can buy annual passes and call to get a better room rate if it is available during the time you go, you can watch for good package to come out and simply call and convert to it, you can also send them money on your account, but why give them free use of your money before you need to?

We are getting the ultimate park hoppers, so I have to either book through CRO or buy them when we get to the resort, they are cheaper if I buy ahead of time. I asked one CM about buying them when I called to make a payment, but she said that I would have to outright buy them over the phone, or have a package, I couldn't add them to my reservation and just keep making payments, but I am not sure if I got the most knowledgable CM since she also thought I had to buy a pass for my 1 year old daughter
