 My hubby and I are going it alone to WDW in August. The problem is that hubby gets motion sickness on rides like Star Tours and Body Wars, etc. I love these rides and would love to do them all while on our trip, but don't want to do it without Hubby, and I don't want him to feel left out or like he's holding me back.

What do you all do for motion sickness? Does Dramamine really work? It's never been a problem before because I could always go with one of the kids. They won't be coming this time.

Any advice?

TIA

DW and I have some seperate tastes for attractions. I may be a
rare male that actually likes to look at the Disney merch in all the shops. Anytime DW goes on something I won't do, I check out the shops. Another idea would be to split up for an hour or two in various parks so you can ride the rides and he can get a snack, something to drink, or make a special purchase to give you on your next birthday/anniversary/special occasion:earsboy: The worst thing would be for him just to sit and wait for you to ride.

What do I do for motion sickness? I don't do the rides. I tried Space Mt with a patch on once (it was left over from the Disney Cruise that we had just gotten off), but that didn't help a bit. So husband and son get to enjoy Space Mt, Astro Orbiter, RNRC, M:S, Teacups, etc. and I watch them.

I get motion sickness and take bonine in the parks. Most rides are OK, except body wars and stars tours are NOT enjoyable for me. I went on both with DD and basically have to stare at the floor or the back of the chair in front of me and pray that it ends before I throw up. Since I can't look at the movie during the ride, I would not go on again. My mother is much worse than me and had to lie on a bench in EPCOT for a while after watching the movie in Canada.
