A question about lanyards

Seen others talking about lanyards to keep room keys, tickets, fast passes etc.

Most designs I have seen have a plastic pocket with an open slip. How safe are your tickets in these Or do you have a favourite design that you use

Hey we used the lanyards with the plastic ticket/room key holder thing on the bottom and found them very handy and safe. We found them really useful because you can also keep some spare change in the little pouch

Most of the pin trading places sell a pouch with a 'zip-lock' style fastening at the top. Although there is little chance of your tickets falling out of the normal pouches, the closed ones are useful if you are going on 'wet rides' as they stop your tickets getting wet.

We got the one we used at the All Star Music shop. It is just the pouch bit that clips on to any lanyard. It has a really good selection of clips and attachments for fastening all sorts of things to. It cost about $4, I think.

It easily held our room keys, park tickets and fast passes, we even kept our photopass card in it so we didn't have to take it out of a wallet to get it scanned, they just did it through the pouch.

We will be using it again this year as it is really sturdy and still in good condition.

They are very handy and you would struggle to lose anything if put in correctly. Ideal for your fastpasses and photopass, beats checking all your pockets to find them.

MrNeo always uses one that is open that the top and hasn't lost anything from it. He keep his room key/park pass and photo pass, fast passes, ... in there

I now have one with a ziplock and has a image of Tinkerbell. They sell them in quite a few of the shops in WDW. Although I did come loose once, the little metal ring that keeps the pastic holder on had a bit of a gap and it came off while we were on TSM. Luckily I noticed quite quickly and MrNeo went back to find it, it was just turned in to a CM. Phew! Made sure the ring was a bit thighter afterwards!

I also hang a little lip gloss from my lanyard, I hate it when my lips go dry, very practical

Mine has an open top but it's quite secure (have to actually pull the ticket out, it doesn't fall out if I turn it upside down or anything) It's lasted me since 2003 so i'll probably buy one of the ziplock ones this trip
