This has had me wondering for quite a while now, and these boards seem to have folks who can answer most any question. So here goes ...

What's the difference between jelly and "spreadable fruit?"

Thanks.

Jelly is made with fruit juices and a gelatin, and has a very smooth and consistent gelatin texture. Jam contains the actual fruit and sometimes seeds.

Spreadable fruit is similar to jam, but with a smoother texture.

spreadable fruit is jam that does not have added refined sugar
