I would like to book some of the fixed price meals including dinner @ Akershus and the Fantasmic Dinner Package at the Brown Derby.
However, my 14 year old daughter really doesn't eat very much and would much rather choose something from the kid's menu. She does not have any medical condition, she just prefers pasta and tomato sauce type stuff. We won't bother with the dining plan and so will be paying with cash. At an ordinary restaurant am I right in thinking that we can just choose a smaller meal from the kid's menu even though she is over the age limit?
Do you know whether she can also go for the kid's menu on one of fixed price meals? Does it make a difference if it is a buffet or not. I not want to pay for an adult meal ($11 versus $37 for the Fantasmic Package) when the difference in price is large. Neither do I want my DD to be intimidated by platefuls of food that she will feel guilty wasting.
Do you have any experience of this problem?
