A question about buying tickets & magic bands?

We are staying outside of Disney this trip and I'm looking to buy a 1 day ticket from Disney to add a day to the tickets we already have in our Disney acct. from last trip. When I purchase them will the tickets get linked to our account so I can book our fastpasses for that additional day or do I have to wait to receive them in the mail to link them? My other question is if I've read correctly I would be able to use our magic bands from our last trip is this true? Thanks, Linda

If you purchase with a "Will Call" option you will be able to link using the voucher number. If you decide to have them shipped, you will need to wait to link until you actually get the tix in hand.

Batteries are supposed to last for ~5 years so yes.

Just as an FYI - if you are staying off property and are not an AP holder you cannot utilize FP+ at the 60 day mark (30 days for AP). You can still link your tix but no advance FP+.
