A question about 2006 free dining plan dates

Does anyone who had free dining last year (the September special) remember what the date requirements were?
I have booked a trip that starts on Sep 30 and ends on Oct 6. Since my trip begins in September, if they offer the free dining this year- I have heard they will announce in april- would my entire stay count even though most of it is in Oct?

What might matter more is the dates for which free dining has already been offered for this year, 2007. From the Dining Plan FAQ:

The free dining promotion applies for arrivals starting August 5 (for the bounce-back offer) or August 12 (for the UK/European offer), through September 29, 2007. There is no indication, one way or another, whether free dining will be offered to other targeted groups and/or to the general public.

As long as your stay starts in September, you will continue to be able to enjoy your free dining into October. My brother in law last year got to Disney on September 28 and was there was 10 days -- having free dining for the entire time.

FWIW, in 2006, free dining was from August 13 - September 30, 2006.

And bicker has already given you the more relevent info on when it will be in 2007.
