I'm not sure if anyone else has been concerned about QR and the affect of the fraud crackdown but I've been since Dmitry hasn't mentioned it at all and some of the other sites we use have. I got this email today from Dmitry since he read my post on here and wanted to ease any concerns I had. He still reads over here but just can't post. Its very similar to what Tricia has been telling us all along both here and on her forums. It eases my fears a little to know my 2 favorite sites are not going anywhere nor are they being hit too hard by all this.

I read your post in Disboards concerning why you never hear anything about fraud issues from QR and thought that I will explain this to you so that you know.

Most of the fraud messages are coming from small networks and effect sites that focus on trials. QuickRewards has been around for 5 years and most of the networks we use are large (this is why the payouts are sometimes smaller because larger networks pay less than most smaller). The network account managers we work with know our traffic. They know the kind of members we have and what the members do. They already established a “trust” with us. Sure some advertiser might ask us to pause a campaign, but this means that all other sites will have to pause it too. So far out of everything that was going on we never had a single network boot us or a single advertiser reverse anything (except for a couple of little trial offers that we didn't even reverse anything from members). Because of the long term relationship we have with the networks, 90% of all these new rules don’t apply to us.

QR had no minimum cash out policy since day one. While 99% of the sites send paypal to everyone automatically we actually manually process every single cash out. I have a person who just does that. This way we eliminate all the possible fraud since most cheaters will cash out via Paypal and we check every single account before paying to see what they did to earn that cash. We already know most of the tricks and different fraud possibilities and the advertisers are happy on what we do to avoid fraud. Also if you notice we started giving QuickPoints for some offers that don’t allow cash.

At this point you have nothing to worry about QR. We are doing everything that is needed to make sure that we keep the advertisers and we been though this period 3,4 years ago so I know this is something that will pass. They are just filtering all these overnight sites that just paid for a code and have a site the next day. Once they clean all these up the industry will grow again. Since you are doing sites like SR, CR and QR you don’t have to worry about them going away any time soon. I these sites have wonderful owners who are aware of what's going on and are not focusing on making money fast and defrauding the advertisers like many others are. I don't even know if you know this, but most of the people who own these shift codes sites are not even 18 years old!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Dmitry

Wow! Very interesting!! Thanks for posting this! I guess I am pretty naive about what goes on!

WOW...I haven't done much on QR because I kinda found it confusing, but I am thinking that I will have to give them a try!

The site is a bit confusing at first but if you take some time to look past that first page (its a little overwhelming and cluttered) then you will be ok. The link bars at the top really help.

Why can't Dmtry post here?

He was banned a few months back. No one knows why but there was some drama that was later cleared up. I think someone must have thought he was pushing his site when he was trying to be helpful and that got him banned. I really have no clue though. He's still around and if you have questions on here he will email you with a personal response which is very nice.

Gotcha.

Thanks for posting that:) SR and QR are the two sites I do. I am so happy with the service from both of them.

Thanks for posting this! I figured Dmitry would read your post & respond! He's so good like that! QR & Dmitry rocks!! Hi Dmitry!! :0)

Thanks for posting the email. Dmitry has always been excellent about responding to questions both by email and on the QR blog.

I use both SR and QR and I have been very happy with the excellent customer both sites provide. :thumbsup2
