~ A PTR for a CAMPING Trip That Might Never Be ~ *TR Started (link inside)*

Wow - so you only give Le Cellier 3 dancing bananas?? You're even tougher!

You don't know of any CS that serves sushi?

And no - not really a great memory. I just was looking through your TR yesterday trying to remember where I left off and I was reminded of your meal there. :rolleyes1

Yakatori House has California Roll sushi...

I really like Le Cellier, but my companions have not been as enthusiastic about it...thus the lower rating.

As far as your last comment.....you could've said nothing....but honesty wins out......:thumbsup2

It's not part of Biergarten, from what I remember, but don't quote me. I think it was separate.

Ok...more reliable information than my memory! Unofficial Guide says it's tucked in the entrance of Biergarten and not easy to find from the street. Also, I remember limited seating and we ate out in the courtyard by the fountain....nice view out there, though!

Cool. If he's havin' a hankerin' for it I'll know where to send him. :thumbsup2 He mainly eats California Roll anyway.

I'm nothin' if not honest! ;) Seriously though - who could I fool into thinking that I actually have a good memory? I have 3 young boys J! There's only room for insanity in this brain of mine. :sad2:

I thought maybe... ;) Thanks for checking! I really think we may give it a go.

I like Goofster's rating although I would probably rate Yakatori Hour a one  ,but that's coming from someone who's had Japanese food his whole life.
:

So, your a Japanese food snob?;)
What do you think of Tepan Edo? It's one of our favorites.
Once you get back from China you'll be ruined for our americanized version of chineese food.

And the big news.........................................

I just booked our stay at Port Orleans Riverside!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh you are going to have a blast! We stayed at POR for our honeymoon in May 98, it was called Dixie Landings back then. And we still visit it now and then on trips. We love the theming and just the "feel" of it. I am sOOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooOOO excited for you!! :hyper:

Thanks! I am very excited myself. :goodvibes I'm having a hard time sleeping at night right now - even though I'm exhausted! :lmao:

You should do that!! princess:

I need convincing on this one. The only thing that excites me about eating at the castle is being IN the castle itself. I guess I'm not as into the "human" characters. I need to look at the menu. Those of you who have eaten there, tell me why you like it!

I've also thought about going to 'Ohana for my birthday meal. It would be easy to leave MK, head there for dinner, and go back to MK for Wishes. As you know Liz, the first time we ate at 'Ohana, I wasn't feeling 100%. We didn't go on our last trip and Chuck and Owen would really like to eat there again (Owen enjoyed the coconut race).

I really want to get my ADRs made so I can relax a bit!

Chuck and I were talking last night and we decided to not use a day of our ticket on arrival day. We had originally planned to go to Epcot, but that means we can't visit a park on our last day before heading out. That's a tradition for us! On our last two trips we've done a character meal and visited MK before driving to Savannah.

We figure we can find plenty to do hanging out at the resort on arrival day and just plan a special meal somewhere - either at a resort or T-Rex Cafe at DTD.

I need suggestions for a character meal. Not sure it would be on our last day - might have to break tradition a bit. We've done Chef Mickey (not a huge fan) and Crystal Palace. What are your favorites besides those two? Kind of leaning towards the character meal at AK (it's at Tusker House now, correct?).

Chuck got home from work last night and told me that he had received an official announcement about the deal Disney was offering military on tickets. Then he went on to tell me that his ticket wasn't free and our tickets were only for one day passes.

I looked at him for a minute and thought to myself. Then I said, "I'll believe what I read on the Dis and Mousesavers before I believe what the military says."

He was really concerned that I had "misread" the information. I continued to tell him that I read the info NUMEROUS times and I was sure that I had it right. He said, "Please just check."   Does he not know the amount of time and research I put into our trips? Doesn't he realize that I'm never wrong?? I mean - c'mon! :snooty:

It was time for dinner so we sat and ate and when I was finished I said I was going upstairs to do some "research". He said something about park hoppers and I said, "We're not going to talk about it right now," while at the same time giving him the eye as if to say, "Hello! The children are right here! It's suppose to be a SURPRISE!!"

Sully immediately said, "We're going to Disney!" :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Oops.

So now the cat is out of the bag. The boys are very excited and I was able to get some input from them as to what they want to do.

And, of course - I was right about the tickets. :rolleyes1

How dare Chuck question your Disney expertise!!! Of course you were right... :rolleyes1

Sorry to hear the kids found out about the trip. But like you said, that can be a good thing if you want their opinion for planning. And now you don't have to keep a secret anymore. You can talk Disney morning, noon and night! ;)

Sorry to hear the cats out of the bag for the boys

:sad2: Chuck :sad2: Chuck :sad2: Chuck

Questioning Carissa's Disney research and knowledge :guilty:

:rotfl2:

:cool1: :thumbsup2 Very true!

:rotfl2:

I know, right?! Even YOU knew I was always right. :sad2:

Poor Chuck! Doesn't he know to never question the knowledge of the dis?:rotfl2:
I'm glad you got that issue straigtened out!

I couldn't believe his doubt. Then, later, when I'd looked it up again JUST to make sure, he tried changing his story. I knew he just hadn't read the announcement closely.

People! You're not helping me with my ADRs!!!

I think I'm going to skip CRT. It really doesn't interest me.

Now I'm thinking of maybe doing Kona for my birthday dinner. We've never eaten there and I've heard such good things about it.

I also think we'll do Donald and Friends at Tusker House for our character meal on the day we're at AK.

T-Rex Cafe on whichever day we end up going to DTD.

That's what I've got at the moment. I think maybe ONE more TS meal and we'll be good.

Awww, I'm sorry he let the cat our of the bag!! But isn't it funny how words like "park hopper" sparks the immediate thought of Disney, even in the kids! :lmao:

Kona is really good! We tried it last trip and now we are hooked. We've got ADR's for this trip too.

Tusker house- We ate here when it was still counter service. We got the baked chicken it was really good.

I can't wait to try T-Rex too!!!
