~ A PTR for a CAMPING Trip That Might Never Be ~ *TR Started (link inside)*

I can't believe we're going to be staying at POR!!!!!!

:dance3:

Sorry - just had to get that out. :upsidedow

I'm so excited for you!!
There's nothing like staying at one of the resorts........makes me feel "special"!:rotfl2:

I'd like to get a henna tatoo.........I'd never get a real one, so this is something "daring" for me...........I know, I live a sheltered life.:rotfl2:

There are so many great places to eat in WS.........I could eat there every day and be happy. I was appaled when my dh and 3 kids decided to eat at McDonalds when we were there!!!! The blasphemy!!!

I could spend a week just in WS and not get bored........I'm thinking I may wander over there while my kids do inoventions........to me that's a big snooze fest.

Here is my rating of CS eateries in World Showcase

On a scale of 1 to 5 Bannanas; 5 being best

Kringle Bakeri Og Kafe

La Cantina De San Angel

Liberty Inn

Lotus Blossom Cafe

Yakitori House

We usually do all of our Table Service eating at World Showcase, it is our favorite

Congrats on POR!:cool1: I am so happy for you! As far as CS in World Showcase I would avoid the mexican Cantina like the plague, the birds there are RELENTLESS:scared1: When we were there some poor mom and her daughter were in tears becuase the birds just sit there and stalk you while you eat. People feed them and of course that is what keeps them coming back.:sad2: If you feel like venturing outside of WS you could go through the International Gateway and go to the Boardwalk bakery. They have AMAZING sandwiches that are big enough to share plus you can enjoy/visit the Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club atmosphere and then walk back into WS through the International Gateway again! Just a thought!:goodvibes

I like feeling "special". :cutie: Every time I look at my signature and see the picture of POR, I get this warm feeling in my tummy. :upsidedow

It's not part of Biergarten, from what I remember, but don't quote me. I think it was separate.

I'm sure I've heard of it - it's just not ringing a bell.

I had just convinced myself that I was going to get a tattoo for my 35th birthday. I had what I wanted all picked out and everything. I had said I wanted to do something big for my 35th birthday and figured that would fit the bill. Well, then this whole Disney trip came to be and I'm thinking I'd rather do Disney than needles repeatedly pierced into my body. :lmao:

I'm not a huge fan of Innoventions either. We didn't even step foot in there on our last visit. During our first visit I was feeling rather ill the day we went in there and couldn't wait for the boys to finish up.

That's all you've got for me?? :confused3 I was thinking you'd have ALL of the CS rated for me. Geesh.

What do they sell at the Lotus Blossom that you like? Basically you're telling me that none of the CS in WS excite you all that much if the highest rating you gave was 3 dancing bananas. What's your favorite TS in Epcot?

That's downright skeery about those birds!

I still can't believe we've never made our way to the Boardwalk. :headache: We shall venture there this time especially since we'll have two days in Epcot. :thumbsup2

Orange Chicken with Steamed Rice

Vegetarian Stir Fry with Steamed Rice

Yeah, I guess I'm kind of a food snob.

What's your favorite TS in Epcot?

With out any hesitation I would have to say Le Cellier Steakhouse
    and 1/2

In the Magic Kingdom I have heard of the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station, located near the entrance to Tomorrowland. It has never been open when we have been there, but I have heard good things about it.

The portions are supposed to be huge

Not sure if it is still there, maybe some else here knows.

Chicken Noodle Bowl with broth

Vegetable Noodle Bowl with Tofu

Six Piece Chicken Breast Nuggets (with french fries or apple slices)

Eight Piece Chicken Breast Nuggets (with french fries or apple slices)

Orange Chicken with Steamed Rice

Beef and Broccoli with Steamed Rice

Caesar Salad with chicken

Tofu with Steamed Rice

Full Moon Combo Sushi

Ohhhhh - so it's Chinese food. Yeah - the name should have told me that, eh? :rolleyes1 You do like your orange chicken, don't you? One of my favorites too.

Wow. You're tough on your ratings. I gave out a few 5 Mickeys on my last TR.

We were suppose to eat at Le Cellier on our last trip, but ended up passing and eating at Raglan Road instead. Can't say that was a disappointment because RR Rocked! :cool1:

We have not been to RR....Yet :goodvibes

I don't remember it being open for us either. Sounds yummy! I'm thinking of possibly trying to get into the castle when we're at MK for my birthday. I can be a princess for a day. princess:

It is sooooooooooooooooooo good. Chuck wants to go back on this trip, but I don't think the kids would be overly thrilled with it.

Sounds like an Adult night out...Hey Mickey Carissa needs a sitter

If my parents were going to join us then we could. But, I'm not paying the money to put them in a kids' club. Way too pricey. Now, if Mickey was offering...

Sorry to interrupt your ongoing conversation with Goofster....:)

CONGRATS!!!!! You are staying onsite! That's gonna be a great stay for you (hopefully).

I like Goofster's rating although I would probably rate Yakatori Hour a one  ,but that's coming from someone who's had Japanese food his whole life.

I tend not to eat the CS at World Showcase either. The Fish and Chips place in the UK is good. I personally like the Tangierine Cafe, but I understand it may not be for everyone.

And since you were asking..my favorite TS restaurants in the WS:

Le Cellier gets
Chefs de France:
Tutto Italia:

Is there any good sushi in the World? Not for me (can't stand seaweed :scared: ), but for Chuck.

Is this based on the same rating that Keith used with 5 bananas being tops? I remember the installment in your TR of Tutto Italia and how good the food looked!

It is the same rating system as Keiths.

Wow! Good memory!I really enjoyed Tutto, but you know how the DIS is sometimes. People are usually divided when it comes to restaurants.....

I haven't tried it yet, but the Japan Pavilion has a newish restaurant called Tokyo Dining that serves sushi. CA grill serves it and I believe either the Swan or Dolphin has a restaurant.....

Wow - so you only give Le Cellier 3 dancing bananas?? You're even tougher!

You don't know of any CS that serves sushi?

And no - not really a great memory. I just was looking through your TR yesterday trying to remember where I left off and I was reminded of your meal there. :rolleyes1
