Those Zebra Domes are amazing!:worship:
You should try it for dinner sometime.
It's great!:thumbsup2

Happy Easter all!:butterfly

I've heard great things about those Zebra Domes :thumbsup2

Thanksgiving - what about Garden Grill at Epcot? The dinner we had felt very Thanksgiving-y to us.

Tho doing Boma sounds like a fun sort of rebellious anti-Thanksgiving meal!

(I won't be on much in the next couple days since we are moving our office.)

Garden Grill did cross my mind. I shall add it to m list of possibilities.

I found something interesting while looking at what allears had to say about Thanksgiving dining options -- under dinner shows it had "Thanksgiving at the Fort" listed. I wonder if the Hoop-de-do changes its show for Thanksgiving? That would be fun and different!

That would be fun! But, if it's a dinner show we'd have to pass. I don't think the HDD would fit into a budget trip, unfortunately. We'd love to go back!
I'll have to look into what a Thanksgiving at the Fort means.

As for Thanksgiving dinner...I am not sure. I like the idea of the Whispering Canyon Cafe...I just love being in that resort though. So homey feeling. I also think 50s Prime Time could be fun. They already pretend to be your family so I bet they go all out on Thanksgiving. We had Christmas dinner at Chef Mickey's and it was very un-Christmas like but so much fun since we were at Disney!

We've eaten at WCC and we liked it too. 50's Prime Time I'd probably pass on. We ate there on our last trip and it was ok. Thanks for keeping the suggestions coming! :)

An update on Connor:

We just got home about 40 minutes ago. Connor did well, even though I'm sure it was uncomfortable :( They had a woman there with games (probably a social worker) who was trying to distract him, but it didn't work. I had brought his blanket along and so I layed next to him, facing him and we covered our heads with the blanket and I think it worked really well to kind of block everything else out for him. The end result is that the does NOT have Hirshsprung's Disease. It's kind of like a good and bad thing in my eyes. Good because it would mean surgery if he had it, but bad because now we still don't know what's wrong and this could mean more tests and procedures. We have our next appointment with the doctor in early April.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts :grouphug:

Glad to hear it went as well as can be expected......

Hoping for only good things for your son.....:grouphug:

Those zebra domes are awfully good :).

Glad to hear that Connor made it through the procedure. I'll continue hoping that you get some answers and solutions soon.

Thanks :goodvibes

My new class has started, soccer begins next week for the older two boys so needless to say - life is about to get crazy!!!!

I have not eaten at WL but it might be a nice place to be on Thanksgiving.

Sorry to hear more tests will have to be done.

Have I drawn you in? Are you wondering how I booked my trip already? :cool1:

Well, I DID book a trip today. But, it's not anywhere near Disney World. I bought my plane tickets and made hotel reservations for our trip to Alaska in July. :woohoo: I love trip planning period. Even to destinations other than where Mickey lives.

I mentioned in the beginning that Sully would be going with me. I have an Alaskan Airlines credit card, which allowed me to purchase a ticket cheaply last September. And every year I get one companion ticket for $50. So, I decided I would take Sully along on the adventure. I think it will be a very special experience for us both and I'm really excited about it.

Sorry I duped y'all. :rolleyes1

The town that I'm flying into initially (my final destination is actually an island) is a big stopping point for the cruise ships. I got in late the night I arrived and so didn't get to see anything. The next morning when I walked outside, this is the view that awaited me:

It drove me nuts!!

So, I just kept walking until I was able to get around the cruiseships and that's when I saw this:

:welcome: Nice to see you stop by! Where did you go in Alaska?

Booking any trip is fun! Will it be just you and Sully? What part of alaska are you going to?

Yes, it'll just be Sully and I. Can't afford to bring the whole family. I'm the maitron of honor so I need to be there :thumbsup2

We'll be going to Southeast Alaska, which is almost part of Canada :rotfl: I'd love to see other parts of Alaska someday.

I wanna do a Alaskan cruise.

Biff's nephew and niece are in September. I would cancel my Disney trip fro that.

Congrats on booking your trip! Yes, you duped me:rotfl2: What a great experience that will be for Sully! Great pics. too just gorgeous!:goodvibes

I'm glad Connor doesn't have that disease you mentioned...hopefully whatever it is is okay and nothing big or bad:hug: He's a trooper and a brave little boy:thumbsup2

Still no Josie?:sad1:

That's exciting about the Alaska trip. What do you have planned? I grew up in Fairbanks Alaska and would love to go back one of these days...

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: You totally got me! DH would love to take an Alaskan Cruise. I suppose we will one day. I would rather be somewhere WARM. :beach:
