Pre-Trip Report – A Princess Visits her Kingdom for the First Time!​

Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping by my first pre-trip report. I hope it does not disappoint. I have wanted to do a trip report for a long time but I never actually took the time to do one. This time that will change. This trip is special because we have a new travel companion.

This is Addison; she will be 16 months during our trip. This is not her first trip to a Disney park. Her parents and I took a trip to Disneyland while Ashley was pregnant with Addie. Unfortunately we did not know her gender until later that summer so we were not able to buy her many things. That will not be the case this trip! We are all raising her to be a Disney girl! She is a Minnie Mouse, Doc McStuffins, and Sophia the First fan.


Hi! I’m Courtney, I’m a student studying elementary and special education. I love everything Disney! Some of my favorite movies are Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, The Lion King, and Cinderella. My favorite park is the Magic Kingdom and my favorite rides are Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean.

This is my dad Dave, he is a Disney loving guy. His favorite park is the Magic Kingdom and his favorite ride is Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest. Other than myself he is probably the most Disney obsessed.

This is my mom Vonda, she is a Kindergarten teacher who loves all things Disney. Her favorite park is the Magic Kingdom and her favorite ride is Splash Mountain.

This is my brother Chris, he works in insurance and he has become a big Disney fan here lately. He even visited Disneyland for his honeymoon. His favorite park is the Magic Kingdom and his favorite rides are Splash Mountain and the Pirates of the Caribbean.

His Wife Ashley has also become a Disney lover here lately. She had been a few times with her family before she started dating Chris. Her favorite park is the Magic Kingdom and her favorite rides are The Pirates of the Caribbean and Tower of Terror.

Your little girl is SO cute! I can't wait to hear more about your trip. My daughter is going on her first Disney trip later this year (in December), and she'll be 18 months on the trip. I've been to Disney a bunch of times before, but never with a little one. I want to see what you've got planned, so that I can take notes!

Ahhhh! I just posted my first PTR thread tonight too! AND we're going with an 18mo too!!! I can't wait to follow everyone's plans, take note, steal ideas, and have ideas taken!

Aww thanks! Yes I am a very proud Aunt! We are still finalizing plans for our trip but it will be a big change with a little one! Hopefully she loves it just as much as the rest of us! I will update with our plans soon! Disneygirl im gonna have to check your PTR out and steal ideas as well!!

Wow It has been awhile since I have posted. Sorry about that I have been overwhelmed with school and we had some family issues. Since I last left you Disney announced a 24 hour show your Disney side party. Since my brother and I are flying out while everyone drives out we have decided to go a day early and experience this party. I am extremely excited about this, they look so cool! We are going to try and make it for the whole 24 hours! Wish us Luck!! More updates to come soon!
