A Pre-Trip Report by a 5 yo princess...The final countdown!!

I'm just glad I'm not the only adult who doesn't like to tell their parents they are going to WDW.
Yeah my mom gives me lectures me about how much a Disney trip cost, and that it's not really for the kids, it's for me. That I spoil the kids too much by taking them to Disney and that if they take them anywhere else it's just going to be boring compaired to Disney....blah, blah,blah until I want to poke a hot poker in my ear just so I can't hear her talking.
My mom thinks nothing of her and my dad going to Estes Park, CO every year. The only other place they go for a vacation is to New Orleans to see my sister. Yet I am the strange one for taking my boys to WDW every other year.

Hi, I'm subbing to this thread for a couple of reasons.

1. I think it is brilliant that you are including your daughter's input in the TR. I think I will copy your idea when I start mine!

2. My DD is nearly the same age and every bit of her loves Disney. Our trip in August will be her 18th!

3. We will be at WDW from Aug 9-23, so maybe our girls can "meet" online and if they like each other, maybe in person.

My son is 3, so older than yours, but he likes whatever his sister does! This will be his 9th trip.

Where do you live? We're in South Central PA.

Stacey, welcome aboard! How cool that we will be there at the same time! Wow, we haven't been as many times as you guys, but we love it just the same. We are outside of Houston, Tx. Aubrey would love to chat with your DD! It would be great if they hit it off to meet up for a bit. Maybe in Fantasy land or something. Wow this is great!

Ok, so here is what the little pro has to say!

Today me and Mommy started making a countdown chain. We aren't finished with it yet, so we have to finish it in the morning. Daddy will have to hang it up for us it is long! I have been coloring all the pieces to the chain.

Mommy says we will be at Disney at the same time and that we might can meet each other and ride a few rides together. I think that would be cool. I have a brother too, but he is still a baby. I have a few pins, but I don't really collect them or trade them. Me and Mommy finished our chain today and Daddy is going to hang it up when he gets back. I can't wait to go back to Disney!

Hi Aubrey! I am 5, but I don't turn 6 until December, so I'm not in kindergarten yet. I really like my pre-school, especially when we do crafts and play. I would like to ride Haunted mansion with you if you like it, and some other rides too. I have had so much fun trading pins, almost as much as I like Disney World. You should try it! I have to go play with my friend who is sleeping over tonight, Bye!



Annika's mommy is very jealous that you have the Cruella DeVil ring tone! I have different Disney tones for different people, but I have not found that one. Annika was in a production of 101 Dalmatians kids last fall, but I'll let her tell you all about that later, when she doesn't have a friend over!

I'll check it out a bit later, need to feed the kids right now. As for the ring tone, dh has a program that you can use actual mp3's as your ring tone. He took CD off of the Disney Mania 3 CD and cut part of it with the program and then downloaded it to my phone.

Mommy got all the pictures ready today, but we didn't get to do the scrapbooks. Maybe we can do them tomorrow. I also rode my bike today. Santa brought me a new one for Xmas, but I fell off and hurt my knee so I didn't ride it anymore. But today I rode it and I didn't fall off so mommy got me a prize for doing so good. I got Princess Uno! We are going to play tomorrow. Nite everybody!

Hi Aubrey! I think riding the Tea Cups and Snow White together sounds fineas long as my mommy and brother can come too! What is your favorite snack at Walt Disney World? Mine are Itsakadoozies and frozen drinks. I really like the blue and purple ones (frozen drinks) at Goofy's in Downtown Disney. Maybe we can go in the Treehouse together too. Do you have any pets? I have a Leopard Gecko named Liz and a cat named Honey. My Zayda's (grandfather's) dog Moxie also lives with us when Zayda travels which is about half of the time. Moxie is a Black Lab.We're having a big thunderstorm now, so Mommy says we should go. We'll talk more later about our trips. Annika

Well this weekend was busy, but we had a good time. Aubrey is enjoying cutting the links in the chain each night. I almost have Aubrey's scrapbook done from this past December that just leaves Ashton's. I also want to get my notebook together for both trips. Anyway, hopefully I'll get all that done tomorrow and then I can go over my existing ADR's some more! LOL

Hi Aubrey! I live in Pennsylvania in the house where my mommy grew up. What is it like living in Texas? What is your school like? What are your favorite rides at Disney World? I love Haunted Mansion and Pooh. I think I'm going to try Soarin' in August if my daddy will stay with Charlie while I ride with Mommy. Charlie isn't quite big enough yet. Maybe he will grow!

Hi everybody! Well you should all be proud! I got Aubrey's scrapbook from Dec done!!! Now I can start on Ashtons. Hopefully, I will get to work on it tonight some. I haven't read everything to Aubrey yet, but she will give you some answers and questions later today Annika!

Lettherookiewin - I'm sorry I forgot your first name. We are planning on doing toy story so tell the boys that we will report back to them.

I'm actually going to try to take a pic of our chain later today, and update some pics of it as it gets closer and closer!

It's ok, heck as busy as life is I'm lucky I remember my name. It's Kim though. My DH actually felt sick enough to go to the doctor and has border line bronchitis, and if he's not better by tomorrow I have to take him for chest exrays. Next week, John has a field trip to the zoo and then I am getting my DS10 tested for Epilepsy as well. I told a friend that I play World of Warcraft with that I thought about making scrapbooks for our Disney trip. She said if I did, she would have me put in a mental institute. I am going to make one for this upcoming trip for each boy and then go back and make them for the other trips.

I am supposed to be getting the first things I bought for our trip today. I bought a Mickey lap top bag for my laptop. Also I bought a Mickey wallet, so I can keep the Coach bag at home, and carry my driver's licsense, credit cards and money in the wallet. Everytime I hear a car on the street in front of our house, I look out the window to see if it's here, b/c it's scheduled to arrive today.

G/L testing your other son. We go back May 6th to see if he wants to do another EEG or not to see how well the meds are working. I'm sure he is going to because I can't tell visually anymore. So fingers crossed for us. Aubrey does not tolerate that 24 hr EEg very well. I have fun doing the scrapbooks, but I don't go all out like most people do. I buy the Disney paper etc, cut my pictures cute and put some stickers on the page. That's all. I'm not that creative! LOL You just reminded me. I need to get my but in gear ordering stuff and making lists of stuff to get for both trips!

Hi everybody (its Susan) sorry I haven't been posting much but I've been very busy.

Debbie, I finally broke down and told my mother we weren't going to be home for Christmas this year and she took it very well. I actually blamed it all on YOU. I told her it was all your idea. The only thing she was about is that she has to the deviled eggs herself this year.

Aubrey, Rachel says hi and she's looking forward to seeing you again and meeting your new baby brother.

I like living in TX, we have a zoo and we can watch baseball games. I like my school. We write our names, color and we have recess and PE. My favorite is BTMRR. I ride it with mommy and we scream! Hi Aubrey! I don't really like the fast rides so much. I used to though. When I was 3 I went on the Yeti Ride in Disneyland (Matterhorn), but when I was four I went on Splash Mountain and BTMRR and I didn't like fast rides anymore. May I'll try when I'm bigger.

My favorite colors are all of the colors except black and brown. I have a lot of Favorites!

The clostest zoos are in Baltimore and Washington, so we don't go to much, but I like zoos.

I do like riding my bike. (a tricycle) This summer Mommy and daddy are going to get me a bigger bike!

Do you like to swim? I like to swim and I have a pool at my house. I also swim at school and learn gymnastics. I like Show-and-Tell and gymnastics the best.
