I am very excited about seeing the lights. It was an unexpected surprise that they are even going to be on when we are there. I just love Christmas lights, so what could be better than Christmas lights at my favorite park at Disney?!! :santa:

Great Top 10 List Shelly. I am sure you and the family are going to have a wonderful time!

Yay for top ten!! Are you sure your name's not Stacy??:confused3

Okay, so another minor trip crisis. . . First it was the pool slide, and now this!

When I was originally planning out my park days I chose very carefully for my DHS day. Some of you may remember in January we went on a Fantasmic day and after those mass crowds I swore I'd never go near DHS on a Fantasmic day again (as long as they are only showing it a few times a week). It was being shown 2 times a week in January. When the November hours came out it was showing 2 times our week again. So when picking our DHS day I avoided those 2 days at all costs, avoided the EHM AM day and the EMH PM day. So that left 3 days to choose from and I carefully chose the day I thought would be the least busy. Okay, great. Well until today that is. I just thought I'd go back and check the park hours one more time. A few things had changed at MK, mostly just later closing times. No big deal. Then I looked at DHS and wouldn't you know it, they added Fantasmic 2 more nights. And you guessed it, on the day we are going. :sad2: I can't believe it. And they even added more showings of it. It was originally scheduled for 6:30 2 nights that week. Now those 2 nights are showing it at 6:30 and 8:00, along with the night we will be there. And another day it is showing at just 6:30. So that's 7 showings that week. Why in the heck don't they just go back to showing it once every night if they are going to show it 7 times a week anyway???

So now the question is: Do I change all my plans all around (including trying to change ADR's) this late to avoid DHS on all 4 Fantasmic days? Or do we just keep things the same and hope for the best? Maybe it won't be as bad as January since it's showing 4X a week instead of 2X. . . . :confused3

:rotfl2: That's funny, I was thinking about Stacy when I was making my Top 10 list!!

Ok, I've just found you - and you're almost ready to leave!! I'm still on page 10, but wanted to let you know that I was here and am enjoying your pre-trip. I just saw the end of the airline saga...there are times when I'm actually glad we're driving down in June!!! ;) I'll be back to catch up later!

I think you should just leave it as it is...if you aren't going to F! then...you can probably just avoid the crowd... I think they added some the week we are going to..I need to check...but I don't want to change all my stuff around for it.....I think if you get your spot for Osborne lights and then hang around till the crowds thin out...it'll be okay.

I bet I'm the first one here for the SINGLE DIGIT party!!! I even beat the band!

Oh never mind...here they are! :rockband:

I'll just listen to the sound check and wait for everyone else to arrive.

Want me to set anything up seeing as I have some extra time? I could run out and get some beverages or something...let me know! :goodvibes

I'm bringing snacks.......

It's of course, bananas!!!!

YAY a new reader!! :welcome: Glad you found me! I hope you have made it through the next 45 pages without losing interest! :rotfl: I didn't realize we were on page 55 already!!

DH says just leave it alone. I just don't know. I just remember the horrible crowds that entire day at DHS in January. It was packed from open to close. Ask Trixie, she was there. Waits for RNRC were at something like 90+ minutes. Heck we waited more than 35 minutes to ride Star Tours. Who waits to ride Star Tours? It's always been a walk on. I am just so mad they did this at the last minute. But it's probably hopeless to try to change things at this point, so I'll probably just go and hope for the best and hope that since it's showing 4 nights a week rather than 2 that the crowds won't be as bad.

So I went out and collected a few people to come to your party---

Shelly- I'd leave it alone.

I think a lot of people when they go to WDW do absolutely no planning until they check in and get the times schedule in their hands.

Then they will see that there are lots of F!'s showing all week to shoose from.

I would get there at RD to be on the safe side, and then if it gets crowded leave, go the pool, to DTD, resort hop, go to the Boardwalk, etc.

But I would probably try to go back late that night. I've always found that if I go to DHS while the first one is showing- you can actually get a lot accomplished- the park is virtually empty and lots of rides are walk on's.

Then go to the second showing with not a lot of peeps. And your kids are older now too so- if they're out late it won't be as bad on you guys. Where are you going the next day?
