A Postcard from WDW!

I got a postcard from Disser "saymama" today from WDW. She says she's having a wonderful time! Wish I was there with her. Thanks for the postcard Tonia!

we had a wonderful vacation. It was truly magical. The boys (both with autism) gave us tons of verbal interaction. Everyone was nice. We did most of the stuff we wanted to do. We are ready to go back.

But the downside is the disney curse has struck again. But we are moving up. Maybe by the next vacation we can get it right. Last time everyone in our party got sick and we even had to take one of the boys to the ER. Dh got home from the trip only to be fired to cover the co's butt because one of his customers found out that th company was overcharing him. Well, dh goes to work Tues and found out that he's being laid off because he's the highest paid person in the office and they can higher someone (somebody's sister) for a third of what they are paying him. I even joked before we left that there was to be no firing of the job when we got back! Oh well, he went on a interview already and has actually gotten a dream job prospect (inking comic books) that would never have come if it weren't for this.

I figure we've moved up from the last vacation, so the next one's got to be better too! I just figured it out. It's not Disney. We stayed at the Polynesian. I wonder if DH found a small tiki man statue like on the brady bunch?! That must be it! Good thing we've already decided to stay at the contemporary!

Sorry to hear about your 'curse' lol I will try not to touch any tikis or anything like that. In all seriousness sounds like you had a good time. Pixie dust for you DH job prospect.

We actually can't wait to go back to disney. My oldest keeps asking to go on all the rides. He's reciting , " hang on everybody, lightspeed to Endor." We wants to go fly. I asked him if he wants to go to granny's tomorrow. He responded with "go to disneyworld?" We've told him that when he learns to use the potty, we will go back to disney world. I'm thinking of calling Disney to mail him a postcard from Mickey to say that he hopes to see him again soon so he better learn to potty quickly. He can read and I think he'd love that.

The younger one is still watching the vacation planning video. 4 yrs old and all he does is write Disney or spell Disney movie titles on the floor with magnetic letters.

I sure do have 2 great kids that know how to vacation!!!!
