We will be staying at the Poly this summer using points. I would like to add 2 extra nights onto our stay.

My dilemma is....do we do the "BRP" for the other 2 rooms with our annual passes...I have no idea if the room rate would ever drop or not (we are staying concierge)...or do I do the pay cash for it and hope to get a DVC discount (we have done this in the past) or just simply book it.

I have never stayed at the Poly so this is a first for us and we are soo excited! I do realize its not cheap but my philosphy is...we work hard and life is too short.

good day,

Lately the BRP has been 75 off a deluxe. So you can get at least a rough guesstimate.

Don't forget: after July 4th the deluxe resorts go into "value" season, so a great way to save is by planning around that. The very same room at the Poly will cost you quite a bit less after July 4th! Also, when we spring for Poly we always get the "cheap" ie; garden view. The place is so lovely that even the lesser views are marvelous.

Have fun! If there is anything in this world worth splurging on, IMHO, it is this glorious resort. :)

I would just book it now, and if BRP comes up later, switch to that. When I booked the poly for Dec - I couldn't get BRP, I couldn't even get a concierge room! So I booked a lagoon view at rack rate, and they bumped me to lagoon concierge when i got there (please note, I faxed them a couple of days before and said that i really wanted concierge and if it became available, I would pay the extra at check in) - they didn't charge me.

Concierge was nice to have - the lounge was nice to use. A lagoon view was the icing on the cake. Booking earlier and having concierge book your meals would be nice but the really great thing about the poly concierge building is the location - right next to the main pool.
