I did search for this same question and didn't find it. sorry if it is common. I know it says your photopass photos expire after 30 days but do they not go away?

here is what is going on. We went to WDW last September and bought photopass plus it was pretty new. We had 300 photos taken including dinners and rides and stuff I ordered the Cd and got it just fine. My daughter and I went back in March and bought regular photopass and did about 50 photos. when I ordered the March CD it showed up and contained all my photos regular and edited from March AND September.

we go back in 2 weeks and I pre-ordered photopass plus again early last week. I logged into my account today to track the order (I can't find how to track it) and all my photos from last September are still in my albums the March photos are gone.

does photopass plus make the photos not expire or is there some strange glitch in my account? It doesn't bother me that they are there I just don't someone to catch the photos in there and delete anything current once we start getting photos taken again

Its a glitch. We have bought plus twice in 2012 (April and Dec) (the 3rd will be next week). We got only holiday pics when I ordered the Dec CD and when I logged on to buy September's, my account was empty (like I expected).

Yep, just a glitch. I bought the regular Photopass last October, and our photos from ETwB are still sitting in our account. :rotfl:

I look at it as a wonderful glitch: you have a back-up of the first set of photos.:thumbsup2

So I'm a little confused after reading this thread....

I purchased PP+ for this fall. First time user.

The photos expire after 30days? I thought you get a CD with this purchase which would have all of your photos after your trip ends, which you keep forever, therefore, having all of your pictures forever?

Could anyone explain this to me, did I understand this wrong..

You only have 30 days to order the CD.

Oh okay I gotcha. But the CD is included in the price I already paid correct??

yes there is a code you put in that zeros out cost of cd on pp site. you have to order it though by putting it in cart and going thru order process and you can save pics in various sizes and with borders.

I had old pictures in my account for over year before I deleted them myself. and mine was pre pp+

Happened to us too. We went to WDW in December and got Photopass+. We went to DL in June and got Photopass+ and when we got home we found that our December photos were still there. The problem with that is that if there are any WDW photos in your account, it will charge you the WDW price which is significantly more than the DL price, so I couldn't Order it with my DL code without paying more. I called photopass and they were easily able to delete the WDW photos from the account. They did it while I stayed on the line, so that they could make sure that all the DL photos were still there and none of them disappeared too. If you don't want all your old photos to reappear on your next WDW CD, you can call photopass and they should be able to remove the old ones.

You only have 30 days to order the CD.

There are 2 thirty day windows.

The first one is that you have 30 days from when a picture is taken to "claim" it - that means enter your photopass card numbers into the photopass website.

Once your photos are claimed, you have 30 days to edit (add borders/signatures, etc.) and have the CD shipped.

I guess scratch that. I just saw on stitchkingdom that there is no more 30+30. Effective today the policy is 45 days from the date the pictures were taken.
