I don't know how many people know this, but after seeing it I wanted to share. My DS's music teacher is a big Disney freak like me...maybe even more. Well, after the lesson last night, she showed us her recent Photopass creation...one of the movies and let me tell ya'll it was the coolest thing!
I've read here about folks making the movies, but I didn't realize you could use OLD photos in the movie (and don't know if everyone knows this.) DS's teacher had photos from her son's trips to WDW way back in the 70s, the one son's wedding at WDW several years ago, and some great old shots of her parents and husband, who have all since passed away up to and including shots from her most recent trip in July. It was fantastic!
She told me she was able to put 160 shots on the DVD and it cost $50 for the first one and less for the other copies she ordered and gave to her sons, DIL's parents and her girlfriend that frequently goes to WDW with her.
So, if ya didn't know you could add old photos to your Photopass movie, now ya do. She said she had to scan in some of the old photos and upload them, but it was worth it. What a great present this would be for those granparents who take their kids for years and years...to give them a DVD with photos from all of the trips...way cool!
