A petty gripe.

I hate when my hand lotion pump gets clogged, and I don't realize it until after I pump it and lotion flies all over the bathroom. (A freshly cleaned bathroom, I might add.)

Grrrr.

One time I asked to borrow a roommate's hand lotion. I was in a bit of a hurry when I left her room with the lotion. I not only dropped the lotion, but I stepped on the tube and sent lotion flying all over the floor. Hardwood floor--plenty of nooks and crannies for the lotion to ooze into. Fortunately my roommate thought it was as as I did.

That JUST happened to me yesterday, at work. It flew all over my robin's egg blue shirt and made a stain too.

Add more stains and tell everyone that robins' eggs are speckled!

And I hate when that hard little dried up blob of hand lotion that's clogging the pump comes shooting out into your hand, and then you can't flick it off because it's all slimey and just sticks to your fingers.

I understand your gripe!

A while ago I had just finished mopping the floor tiles in the downstairs cloakroom (toilet) and accidently knocked the china hand pump full of soap off the basin - smash!

What a mess - it went everywhere!

Just this morning I was getting some hand lotion. Dang clogged pump. The lotion shot in all direction. It was in my hair, my eye, the floor, the wall.

I think we've all experienced the clogged pump scenario. In my case, I was sitting on the bed preparing to put lotion on my legs. My cat was sitting next to me, watching as cats do. Well, wouldn't you know, the lotion went squirting in the direction of my cat, which freaked him out, and he clawed the crap out of my legs as he scrambled across the bed to get away from me. OUCH!
