Actually, the driving record is completely clean now. That went away at, I believe, 5 years, might have been 7. But regardless, it doesn't show up anymore.
However, the criminal aspect of it remains. Have tried to get record sealed - but as someone else said, it is indeed one of the crimes that cannot be sealed. So, that will stay for life. Honestly, it hasn't made a big deal in the job positions that have been applied for, just revealed it, they looked at the date, and said that recommendations far outweighed that one negative.
It's just something that has to get drug up every fall when the new school year begins as new volunteer applications have to be filled out every year.
