A Peaceful Weekend of ADRs, how does this look?

Okay, taking all of your advice about quieter places to eat this is what I have come up with as a plan for our 'peaceful' weekend. We arrive on Thursdays and depart on Sundays so we only need 3 ADRs for dinner.

Thursday (arrival day): This presented a small challenge because we will be attending MVMCP this night (why yes, I am planning early, thank you.) - How about 4:00 at the GF for tea?

Friday: 7:00 Artist's Point, Wilderness Lodge

Saturday: 7:00 Citricos, GF

We'll be going the last weekend in September (I think) for Food and Wine. I haven't even thought about that trip yet.

That is my kind of quiet week-end, I think that it looks great.... Another great quiet place for lunch is LTT at MK.

That looks good. I especially like the tea idea. If you order the right thing, you will be stuffed.

I only have one small "caveat" about Artist Point. Please remember that while everyone at AP is very subdued, the ceilings are VERY high and floors are VERY tiled. :teeth: At 7:00 p.m. you are probably bound to get some noise (I usually go at 5:00 p.m.).

Any hints about what 'the right thing' might be? I'd love for this to take us through the evening (other than the requisite snacks of course!)

I forget the names of the items, but there is one service where you get the full deal. Tea, scones, sandwiches, fruit/cheese, and a dessert. That's what you want. Check out the menu and you will see it there.

For the tea, I would get either the Buckingham Palace (sandwiches, scones, jam tarts, strawberries & cream, pastries) or the Grand Tea (same as above with English trifle and sparkling wine). You'll be plenty full and still have room for cookies and cocoa at MVMCP.

I have to agree about AP. I've finally convinced my family to try it again, and we're going at 5:40. Our first meal there was late (the night we arrived at WL), and it was VERY noisy. Add to that the fact that we were tired, and it wasn't as pleasant an experience as it should have been. I'm hoping I can change opinions on this trip :)

Forgot to mention that we love Citricos!

You might also consider the wine room at CA Grill. If you request that seating (not too hard when you consider so many people are jockeying for prime fireworks viewing tables), it's a much quieter experience than the main room, which has been pretty crazy the last few times we've been.
