A Pal Mickey Question

I bought a Pal Mickey last year on my 50th birthday trip to WDW and took him along this October when I visited. He is great fun. The question is, does he work in Disneyland as well? I am going to a conference in Anaheim from Nov 2 through the 6th and will be two blocks from DL. If he will work there too, then I will take him along. Does anyone know if he will work there?

Thanks!

I have no clue, but I am almost guessing you can take him to guest services and they can re-program him for CA. I am going to move you over to Theme Park Strategies, I'm sure someone over there will know your question.

Unfortunately, Pal Mickey does not work in Disneyland (although it would be wonderful if he did). Surprisingly, Disneyland is much more low-tech than WDW. For example, you cannot charge anything to your room key in Disneyland the way they do it in Florida -the resort gives you a little piece of paper for charging. We always ship purchases from WDW home, and this request is second nature to WDW cast members. When we asked to do this in Disneyland, it took 3 CMs plus a lot of confusion to do it. I guess people just look for different services at Disneyland vs. WDW.

Sorry, No.

He's only a WDW tour-guide.

There's no "re-programming" that can be done by anyone after he's manufactured.

 Thanks for the information. It has been awhile since I have been to Disneyland, more used to WDW. I was kind of hoping he would work. :confused3 Oh well.! I am thinking I will have a great trip anyways! It is Disney, after all.

No problem.

I wish Pal Mickey worked at DL... he's a fun little friend.
