A/P Question

I am considering purchasing A/P passes for the first time and I have a few questions:

1. Does everyone in your party need to have an A/P pass? (e.g. I'd probably on purchase two for my family--my DH/DS don't make every trip)--any problems here?

2. Would we still qualify for A/P rates at resorts if all parties in room are not A/P holders (room would be in the name of the person with A/P pass--myself.)

3. Could I convert my existing ressie over to A/P rates if they are lower when they get posted?

4. Does DC discount apply to purchase of A/P pass and if purchased at Disney Store, would we get credit card type vouchers or paper tix? As well, do they go in effect the day of purchase?

Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Hi there,

1. Only one person in your party has to be an A/P holder. And the reservations have to be in that person's name.

2. Yes you'd qualify. Only the reservation holder has to be an AP holder

3. Yes you can convert your ressie to an AP ressie when the rates come out. There's an awful lot of us waiting to do that right now.

4. The only discount for AP purchase is the DC discount. I saw them at my disney store. They now have a plastic card as the voucher. I believe when you activate it you still get those hard paper tickets.

4. ...and the AP's purchased at TDS do not start on the day of purchase. The year will not start until the day you exchange the voucher for the actual pass at WDW.

Is purchasing an AP at TDS new? I remember that last year we were told that we could not purchase it there but had to wait until we got to WDW.

Maybe it is JDADS,

I was just at TDS Friday and they have a whole display where you can pull off the various hoppers and take them to the register. The AP and PAP were there as well.

Hi,

We are at the poly 5/9 - 5/13 then moving over to AKL. We debated doing concierge at the poly, but since this is our first stay there I really wanted a lagoon view and I couldn't justify the cost for LV concierge.

We are doing concierge at AKL. That one I didn't want to pass up.
