...which is the real reason everyone loves this board - so many threads go off topic to BEER! 
Seriously, I've been amazed by how many new people have come on the Camping Board pre-apologizing for their questions.... presumably because they've been burned on other boards.
I think it's wonderful how much fun we have here, all while helping each other and sharing some great info. to boot.
Like I've said before, it's the best place to be if you can't actually be AT the Fort.

I do like camping, but I'm more of a resort girl myself. We are staying in a cabin, so its not like we're tenting it or anything. I was hesitant to book a stay at the Fort, but now that we are 5 its harder to find a place to fit us all and the cabin seemed like a good idea for space. We get the bedroom, the kids get the rest
After being on these boards, getting a golf cart and having everything planned out I am soooooo excited now! 1,300 miles is a far way for camping, but I am kinda starting to be less excited about the parks and more excited about our stay
