A not so magical kingdom

Yeah, none of this will ever stop me from going or wanting to go during Jan, Feb or March.

Exactly. I've taken hundreds of Castle pics (including during this year's half-marathon...evidently, the crane wasn't up then), so the presence of a crane and lack of water isn't going to deter me in the slightest. And Splash being closed? Um, it's winter. I'm not in that big a hurry to get drenched on a ride anyway. :thumbsup2

Isn't this pretty typical for January? Everyone wants the magic of the holidays, but they forget about the dark, cold days of January. I've never been to WDW in January, and I don't think I would...too depressing.

...ITA...wow....:sad1:

...and for those they couldn't save, they did this:

(this was right outside Le Cellier, taken on 01/11/10. Those gardens got hit HARD.)

:rotfl2: ....great sign!

We just got back yesterday! :cool1:

While there was a good bit of reburb going on none of it hampered our vacation. Well, the only thing was Splash Mtn but we knew that before going down. There was a lot of trees and shrubs damaged but the freeze a couple of weeks ago. That is what really caught me off guard. It will take them a while to replant all of those. Some of the larger trees damaged may not be saved. I guess we will see in July when we go back! :cool1:
