called first thing this morning to "reschedule" our originally scheduled flights..

(When we booked back in June, got the YHZ-YUL-MCO flight that we prefer. Terminal change is Pearson just ain't fun;) )

Of course..through the multi changes AC imposed over the last few months...we're flying through YYZ, and arriving 4 hours later than what we booked...and mom and dad are on completely different routes than us.

So we're two months out..and *hopefully* no more major changes from AC:)

So I call, request that we're switched back, and mom and dad as well....

BINGO!:) ACResAgents - Gail, Rose, Natalie and Avilia..you get a gold star today :teeth:

And the motto for this trip...Carry ons only people!!;);)

mbb, glad you got the switch. Did you get your e-mail confirmation? Make sure your parents have theirs too.

It was nice to find out that non-alcoholic beverages are still free on AC. Headsets are also free. Didn't see any pillows but had blankets on 1 flight.

AC is also getting very strict with their luggage allowance. Everyone is allowed to check 2-50lb bags. Normally we have 2 bags for 4 of us and they weigh them together.
This time dh, one dd, and I had just a bag each to check (2 bags, 1 golf bag) Other dd had no bag. They weighed each bag separately. Coming home we put laundry in one of the checked bags (dd's golf bag). It was 1 lb over! I offered to take 1lb of golf balls out but the agent just said "next time just make sure you stay under 50lbs" and didn't charge us.

We had the nice agent. The other agent was giving everyone grief over the weights even before she weighed their bags.

In total we were allowed 400lbs for 4 of us but only had under 150lbs. No pat on the back for being 250lb under the limit though, just a small lecture on the 1 lb overweight bag.

mbb, after your experience I now pin a big sign on the inside of our bags with our destination and change the sign coming home.

Homeland security also checked all 3 of our bags coming home.

::yes::
Each agent made sure to tell me about the new restrictions...and then asked if I understood. Must be a big push to get the fuel costs down..?

I hope that your luggage always finds its way home to you:) I think I've finally replaced everything that was lost! LOL!

Were you very long waiting to go through security in MCO ?

:sunny:

it's still "missing".

File is still "open", though..so if they ever do find our two bags with the moldy swimsuits:crazy2:, (we swam at the hotel in YYZ the night before, and thinking I could just wash the swimsuits upon arrival in FLA, I stuck them in a plastic bag...eeewww!) they'll have it Express Delivered to us!! LOL!

Security, no. Customs, yes

oops, the above answer is for going through Pearson.

It must have been fast at MCO b/c I don't even remember :rolleyes2 My sister in law, who we met at WDW, said I'm losing some more brain cells b/c I'm hitting a big birthday in a few days. I'm allowed to forget.
