Hi ~ today I was at the grocery store. I was at the deli counter placing an order. There was a lady doing the same with another store employee. My kids were fighting ~ that tuckered me out. I accidentally leaned against the ladies grocery cart for a good 5 minutes. When I finally realized that I wasn't resting on my cart and quickly piped up, "Oh, I am so sorry! I thought this was my cart." She kindly turned to me and said, "I was happy to give you the gift of rest. It was the least I could do to help you." WOW! I thought! We chatted momentarily and wished each other a good day. I felt wonderful. Not only did she give me the gift of a little rest, she taught me to forgive someone who cuts me off while in my car ~ maybe they have an emergency. I will forgive a rude cashier ~ maybe they had a really bad day or a sick child. I will forgive more and try to understand that everyone has a story. S
