A nice DL memory from exactly one year ago today

I took a few years of Japanese in college and it’s always fun to find and help fellow speakers. This morning I aided this nice family in their quest to find and get a pic with Peter Pan. I speak much better Japanese than I understand, mainly because most people speak informally, which is more difficult than formal Japanese. So I’ll ask someone something, they’ll understand and then reply... informally. Then I nod, smile and ask where they’re from.
