A Newlywed's Very Merry PTR! December 2013 Complete!

I hate when posts disappear after you have them all typed out!!

Your trip is getting so close, you must be getting excited! I will admit that I am quite jealous lol And how awesome that you get to go next year as well.

I look forward to reading your update when you can get it posted :goodvibes

It is frustrating. I used to type them in Word but a lot of the punctuation I use ends up being html code and it changes it into other things when I copy and paste it, lol. I can't believe how close our trip is getting! I mean, wow! I started this PTR like almost a year out and we are now about three months away! WOO! :cool1: What's more exciting is I take off work a little before Disney so I can just run around and be all "DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY!" and not distract my coworkers! :lmao: Think of that episode of FRIENDS where Phoebe and Rachel jog together and how silly they look. That would be me screaming DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY! LOL! Your trip will come fast too, especially with the baby on the way! What a fun trip that's going to be for you. OMG, I'm so excited for you!! DH is working overtime this morning and I got to sleep in until 8:00, so I'm getting ready to FINALLY type of my post. Thanks for hanging in there!

Hi! I'm here! ;)
I posted on your post on the DISboards on FB...

I'm LOVING your PTR!! What bums me out, is our touring plans do not coincide at all! bummer. Also, we are doing MVMCP on the 3rd.....

We also have furbabies. 2 cats (McCormack and Marley) and our dog Shannon.

I am LOVING all of your pictures!!!

I'm not doing a PTR, but am planning on doing a TR.

This morning I was finally able to make an ADR for California Grill! I'm just about done with everything now...just waiting for the Disney Florist website to update their Christmas stuff and we have to continue to save and pay off some things for the trip. Oh! And order our Photopass+!

HI! Welcome aboard! About our touring plans not coinciding... Ours are most likely going to change a lot while we're there because we'll be there with my mom, dad, sister, her boyfriend, and my baby nephew. Too bad we're not doing MVMCP the same night! My family doesn't arrive until Wednesday night (12/4) so we couldn't do it any earlier.

I will be on board to read your TR! I love that you have fur-babies and I love their names! When you post your TR you'll have to post a picture of them!

So, California Grill will be reopened in time for our vacation? Very good to know! I was wondering when that would be! We stayed at the Contemporary last year and had an ADR to eat there but DH decided he didn't want to :sad2: so we didn't... Meh.

I'm trying to decide this trip if I want to order the Photopass CD or not. That's part of my agenda today is figuring out if I want to order that. I LOVED the pictures I got on our honeymoon. We pre-ordered the CD and really took advantage of it, got some great pictures! PLUS, it's Christmas time and I'm sure the pictures will be even more beautiful... Decisions, decisions...

I'll have to look at the Disney Florist website. I know DH looked at it when we went last year and was going to get us something special but ended up backing out and getting cute Disney stuff for our wedding.

So glad to have you on board!! We may meet at Disney just yet!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the hiatus as of late! It seems like we've been nonstop! My MIL got married a few weeks ago. She looked beautiful! Here are a few pictures from that day!

I love this one. It took Devan a LONG time to warm up to his mom's now-husband. So, it was a big deal that he agreed to give her away.

Me and the boys, who served as ushers that day! The boy on the right is the groom's son and the boy on the left is the bride's grandson.

The girl on the left is the groom's daughter and the girl on the right is the bride's granddaughter. They participated in the unity candle ceremony.

The girls of the day! The two in front are the flower girls and both granddaughters of the bride and groom.

Cozy just loves taking pictures and had to get one of me.

Love that crazy girl.

Anyway, the day was very busy and FULL of drama but in the end they were married and happy. They honeymooned in Niagra Falls and had a great time!

Now, onwards! I think I'll make two updates today. I'll finish this up with plans of Disney, YAY!, and then I'll post another update for those interested in reading about our anniversary trip to Colorado! I'm still getting used to using Flickr so it's taking me longer to post updates than when I used photobucket. :badpc:

Okay, a few updates ago I posted our schedule and how we were looking at possibly getting rid of our ADR to Liberty Tree Tavern. Well, after a discussion with DH about it we decided to cancel it. Our arrival day is a day we do not have the dining plan so we decided spending over $72 on a dinner probably wasn't the smartest decision. We will just QS it that night. :upsidedow

Now, I've been going back and forth on pre-ordering the photopass CD. We did it last year on our honeymoon and really took advantage of it! It was nice not to have to worry about the battery dying on our camera or asking strangers to take a picture for us. However, it is a little expensive. I think right now the pre-order is $169.95. Another option would be to just order the prints that I really liked. What have you guys done in the past? What do you prefer?

We did get this in the mail the other day.

So, it looks like there will be some construction going on while we're there. Hopefully, it's not too noticeable! The Poly is such a beautiful resort, I'd hate to have it interrupted by construction. I am really sad that Sunset Point is going to be closed though. For those who aren't familiar, here is a tour of Sunset Point. :sad1: Oh well. I'll be at the Poly and that's enough to put a smile on my face!It makes me wonder what they'll be doing there. I know there were rumors of building a DVC property there so it makes me wonder if that is part of it. The letter also says that part of a beach will be closed. I sure hope it's not the main one that you see from the ferry to MK. That would really bum me out. Here is what Tikiman has to say on everything. Makes me nervous that our views could be impacted... We have a MK view. I sure hope it's not the case. I'm hoping since we're going in one of the least crowded weeks of the year that there will be enough Poly rooms where they will try to put guests in rooms not affected by construction, but who knows. :confused3 Just read that an insider stated, "TPV are trying to be corralled to the west side of the building as much as possible, as the Lagoon view and few TPV rooms on the east side will be right in the sight line of construction." Hope that's not true... :sad1: I guess I'm happy we're getting to stay at the Poly before all of these changes because it looks like there are a LOT of changes in store for the Poly...

Regarding our ADRs (sorry, went off about the Poly for awhile there!), I'm really looking at a need for an ADR on Thursday. That is the day we have the MVMCP and the whole morning and afternoon is basically a free day. If you had a free day, what would be your ideal 1 TS credit place to eat? Anywhere on property! Let me know!

I'd better be off! I need to get some kind of workout in today before DH gets home and I have NO idea when that will be. I'm thinking of just mowing the lawn. We have two different types of grass in our backyard. When we built our house we wanted to save money so we kept the existing grass so we could get money back on our sod allowance. The only downfall of that is that grass grows extremely fast. I like that I'm waiting to mow the lawn now when it's starting to reach the 100s again today. Super smart of me. I'll be burnt to a crisp in no time! :beach: I'll post an update on Colorado hopefully later tonight! It took me a long time to write this because I was also watching "Too Cute" on Animal Planet... :rotfl:

Hey Everyone!

For those interested in hearing how our trip to Estes Park, CO went here you go!

DH and I were very excited to leave for our anniversary trip! We took the day off work to really make sure everything was ready, not to mention get in some lovey time with our pups. Our cats, to be honest, could care less that we were leaving. They love us and we love them, but they are very independent little kitties. I think they were looking forward to some free time without me trying to snap pictures of them every five seconds. :rotfl:

The girls could tell something was up...
ARE YOU GOING SOMEWHERE WITHOUT ME?!

so I decided to make them one of their favorite treats: peanut butter kongs!

Ellie decided she was actually going to pose with me for a picture (a rare occurrence). I was really going to miss that girl... She is a momma's girl after all!

So, DH and I left the girls in the perfectly capable hands of my little sister and her college roommate and we were off to the airport! When we arrived at the Parking Spot we were actually given upgraded parking! We got covered parking for the price of uncovered parking! The trip was off to a great start already!

We got to our terminal in great time and found out our plane was delayed about two hours due to weather. Since we were arriving in Denver, CO Friday night anyway and didn't have plans this didn't phase us ONE bit! In fact, we were kind of excited because we now had time to eat dinner! We went to this little place called Pork & Pickle! It was actually pretty decent.

I had the cheeseburger

DH had ribs and chicken

Though, I think his chicken could have been cooked more but he INSISTED it was fine. You be the judge.

Our drinks were served in cute little mason jars!

The lady next to us had some really yummy looking chocolate chip cookies so, of course, that's all I could think about for the remainder of my meal. We ended up getting some ourselves!

They were just alright. I think I can make better ones at home, but they did for the time being!

After we paid our bill we headed back down into our terminal and decided we were going to watch some New Girl! DH and I LOVE this show. We turned on our laptop, went to Netflix ONLY to find out that Netflix is blocked by KCI. How that's possible, I don't know but it was. KCI is probably the most boring airport in the world. Not kidding. There's really nothing to do there. Oh well. We went to Youtube and just started watching New Girl clips there. Our choice clips were, "Best of Nick Miller" (I have a TINY crush on him), "Best of Schmidt", and "Gag Reel Season 1". We were just laughing our butts off and having a grand ol' time. I decided right before we boarded the plane that I wanted an Orange Refresher from Starbucks. I went to the one inside our gate and, of course, they had just closed. Water it is then!

Before we knew it, it was time to board the plane!

Traditional "We're on the plane!" shot!

The flight was relatively short. It was only scheduled to be an hour and 45 minute flight! While waiting for the flight to take off, DH pulled out SkyMall and kept showing me all this stuff for dogs and such and it made me really miss our girls. I was hoping they weren't too terribly mad at us, but I knew they were in good hands. The whole taking off and landing thing isn't a favorite time of mine, especially when there were storms surrounding us. I've been in a near plane crash while trying to land before due to weather and ever since then I just don't do well. I have to sit there, close my eyes, grip the seat, and just breathe. The funny part about the flight is that we sat behind a VERY gassy person. Oh my gosh, you guys... :crazy2: One of the worst things I've ever smelled. HAHA! Luckily, it didn't last the whole flight.

The flight attendant came by asking if we wanted drinks and Devan asked for a cup of water. Apparently, they are now serving water in cans? It was very strange and I hadn't heard of it before.

Anyway, enough about the flight. We landed safely and were off to get our rental car!

Now, to make a long story short. The rental car experience didn't go quite as planned but it was still successful in the end. We were the first in line to retrieve our rental. I had already made a reservation so we just needed to be told where our car was. We got the information and went out only to see no car in our designated spot. Um... Huh? :confused3 I went back in and there was a long line. When we got back up to the front I told the attendant that our car wasn't there and he seemed very confused. He went out to check himself and we weren't crazy! Someone had actually taken our rental car by mistake! We were given another car and we were finally off! I hate driving over those little pointy things they have. Oh, scares me to death I'm going to pop a tire! LOL.

After a long night we made it to our hotel area. I was a little hungry so we decided at about 10 til' midnight we'd stop at the Sonic right across the street. I pulled into a turnstile, waited for some to answer the button and no one did. So, I pulled through the drive thru. When I got up to the speaker the lady goes, "Sorry, we just closed at midnight." I replied, "Well, I waited in a turnstile for over five minutes waiting for an answer so I got here before then, but never mind anyway." I was angry that we had wasted our time, not to mention I was still hungry. We got checked in and were ready to go to bed. I kept debating whether or not I wanted to get room service but at that hour you had to go pick it up at the restaurant and I was too tired to do that. So, I just decided it was time for bed!

I did have a sweet surprise waiting for me when I walked into the room though. It seems the hotel knew I was having some ups and downs and that I needed some cheering up.

I was touched! I still have the rose and the note and look forward to adding it to my scrapbook at some point.

Stay Tuned for Part 2!

I'm glad that your trip got off to such a great start! It is so hard to leave pets, I hate having to leave my dog, even for a couple of hours lol They always still love you when you get back though! Those cookies do look really yummy, it is unfortunate that they didn't taste as good as they looked!

Thanks for hanging in there, all! The Chiefs game was getting ready to start and I had to help DH make some turkey meatball subs for lunch! Yumm! On a positive note, the Chiefs are 1-0! This is the first time we've gone 1-0 on the road opener since 1993. Yay!

Part 2:

I left off with us going to bed in Denver. We woke up the next morning before 8:00, made sure we had everything including my rose

and headed to Estes Park, CO!

The drive was beautiful once we got into the mountain area.

Our first glimpse of Estes Park!

Talk about breathtaking!

Our first view of our home for the next few days! The infamous Stanley Hotel!

If you don't know the significance behind this hotel, it's pretty insane. Stephen King stayed here the day before they closed down for the winter, so most of the staff was gone and the hotel was pretty much empty. He needed to get away for a little bit because he was having writer's block and thought a night away would give him a fresh start on his next book. He got more than he bargained for. His stay here in Room 217 inspired his next book The Shining. For those that have seen the movie, it doesn't follow his book very closely, but the mini-series was actually directed by him and filmed at the Stanley Hotel. The hotel is haunted and we now know from a first hand experience!

The hotel grounds were beautiful!

"Do I look like the elk?!"

We decided to go explore the town since it was all just a short walk from our hotel. We really had prime location! We had a history tour at 2:40 P.M. so we had a little time to kill. Plus, we were hungry for lunch!

We stopped inside a small pet store and bought the pups some bison shins. Boy, do they love those.

We also saw this in the Hallmark Store!

I love how Mickey felt the need to check in on me to see how I was. ;)

We ate lunch at this little Mexican Restaurant that, to me, seemed like a Chipotle wannabe. DH's was pretty good but mine was SO BAD!

Oh well. We walked across the street to the Riverwalk Shopping District to really do some exploring! The whole shopping district runs right next to a river and it is absolutely beautiful!

"Ooh! It's cold!" What did you expect, honey? Lol.

We knew we'd be back here later so we headed back to the Stanley to go on our history tour! We were so excited about this because DH and I are history buffs. We love history and find it fascinating!

By the time we got back to our room a rainstorm had started! The rain was COLD, but it was actually really nice outside! Here is the view from our room!

Continued in next post...

We sprinted to the main building and headed down to the basement, but not before snapping another picture!

The history tour was extremely interesting! We learned so much stuff about the hotel and the Stanley, their family talents and business, not to mention Stephen King and the haunted reputation the Stanley has rightfully earned!

My husband is a creeper.

Here's me pretending to be scared of Stephen King's Room.

Here's a view of the front of the Stanley.

Here is an original Steam Car that they are working to bring back to working order. They have one in the hotel lobby that you can actually drive. These are completely original and driven by the Stanley's themselves!

The entrance to the attic where the servants and their children lived. Notice the word written on the door? It wasn't originally there. A guest snuck up there once and left it, but the staff liked it so much they left it there. However, that area is now roped off and only for viewing.

After the history tour, we went back to the room, cleaned up a little bit, and headed back down to the Riverwalk.

This tunnel leads you under the busy roads, very handy!

We ended up having dinner at a place that reminded me of Disney... Mama Rose's. It was delicious!

Now, DH and I had to take advantage of being in Colorado and being Chiefs fans.

It's silly, but it had to be done! Chiefs and Denver are BIG rivals in the NFL. We explored a little bit more and then headed back to the hotel to get some shuteye. It had been a long, but wonderful day and the next day promised to be jam-packed but extremely memorable!

We woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. Our building is said to be haunted and while I slept well, there were moments when I felt like I was being watched. The building we stayed in is where single men stayed back when the hotel was opened in 1909. So, to have a woman staying there wouldn't be acceptable back then as this was for bachelors. I'm wondering if that could be part of the reason. No evidence of me being watched but I felt strange and it wasn't constant. Moving on!

We had some breakfast in the lodge kitchen as it is included with your stay. It was mostly scones and things of that type. It was good though!

We started our day off with a game of putt-putt. I pulled out the win with my hole-in-one!

After Devan had recovered from his devastating loss, we took to horseback and scaled the mountains. The views were beautiful.

We had to be down at the Riverwalk at 11:45 A.M. for an Off-roading Panoramic Tour we were doing, so we went on our way!

Here is the description of the tour we were doing:

This unique 4x4 adventure takes you into the wilds with unparalleled views of the majestic Rockies at a little slower pace. This guided safari takes you up an authentic wagon trail from the 1860’s and culminates at our panoramic viewing tower with views that span over 100 miles! On your adventure you may even lift out of your seat as you glide over the water bars in one of our highly modified 4X4’s. Whether your stop is to see “The Mummy” “The Bear Tree”, or the old growth Aspens, this will be a memorable adventure for the whole family with surprising facts and plenty of time for pictures.

Haha. The fact that they call it at a little slower pace is laughable. It was fun but definitely exhilarating. The tour starts by taking you up a mountain in a modified army hummer.

Everyone got a chance to sit in each row. The higher you sat, the bouncier your ride. When we were in the top row, we bounced out of our seats constantly.

Our driver/tour guide noticed that the hood wasn't latched down. We were on a pretty steep incline up the mountain but he thought this would be the perfect time to check the hood! So, he stopped the hummer, put it in park, turned it off, and put on the emergency break. After he exited the vehicle, we heard a loud "POP" and the emergency break FAILED and we started rolling backwards down the mountain fast! We were right on a cliff as well so it wouldn't be long before we would fly off the ledge to our deaths. Not kidding. Devan was the closest to the driver's seat so he started taking off his seatbelt so he could jump in it and slam on the break. Somehow, the driver caught up to the hummer, grabbed the door, and got back inside to hit the break. Everyone was extremely freaked out as we had just saw our life flash before our eyes. The tour was three hours long and this all happened within the first 10 minutes... Let's just say everyone was pretty skeptical to keep going.

There were a LOT of really close ledges on the way up and if you fell, there would be no way you'd survive. Luckily, we had no more close calls just good times!

Here is a panoramic picture from my iPhone of our view from the Viewing Tower at the top of the mountain!

Here is the two of us on our hummer.

These are the types of roads we were driving on. Most of them had large rocks embedded in them, but it was hard to get pictures while riding.

Overall, we had a blast.

Though, no one left the driver a tip because we almost died. LOL.

We had to be back at the Stanley for our couples' massage. After the bouncy ride we just had, it was much needed! The massage was relaxing and it relaxed us enough so we could enjoy our EXTREMELY late night coming up. That's right. That night, we would embark on our Ghost Investigation!!!

The ghost investigation was extremely fun and I was one of the lucky ones to have multiple experiences. I had a possible visit with my Grandmother and I had a conversation with an entity through a flashlight. I'd ask it questions and I told it if the answer was "yes" to turn the flashlight on. If the answer was "no" to turn the light off or leave it off. i actually got the interaction on video until it drained my fully charged battery. It was very neat! I hope to book a stay in one of the infamous haunted rooms for one night at some point so I can have a longer investigation. We were up investigating until 3 A.M. so we were ready for bed. It was an amazing day and we were tired.

The next day we were really missing our pups. So much that we tried to get an earlier flight home. There weren't any available and our flight ended up getting delayed a few hours.

By the time we got home our pups were happy to see us! It was an amazing trip and Devan and I have fallen in love with Estes Park. We cannot wait to go back!

I'm glad that your trip got off to such a great start! It is so hard to leave pets, I hate having to leave my dog, even for a couple of hours lol They always still love you when you get back though! Those cookies do look really yummy, it is unfortunate that they didn't taste as good as they looked!

Thanks! Our trip started off great and just got better from there! I think had the cookies had milk they would have been better! :) I hate leaving our girls... Oh my gosh, it was so hard. The was the longest we'd been away from Ellie. Not sure how I'm going to do when we go to Disney for a week! LOL!

You had a jam packed stay didn't you?! Looks lovely and frigtening!

You asked about a 1TS meal, I can't remember your plans but what about Kouzzina for breakfast? I've herd nothing but good things about this restuarant.

Yes, definitely jam packed! It had to be since we really only had two full days there. I absolutely love it there though.

Kouzzina? I've never heard of it! I'll definitely look into it! I LOVE breakfast! Thanks for the tip!

It was jam packed! But, it kind had to be since we were only there two full days. We absolutely loved it though and really want to stay longer sometime in the future.

I've never heard of Kouzzina. I'll have to check it out! I LOVE breakfast! Thanks so much for the tip! :)

Sorry, for the double post. Posting from my phone and the original post never went through on my end! Lol.

I must have posted at the same time as you were posting your last 2 updates, since I missed them. It looks like you guys had a busy, but great time on your trip. I love the picture of your husband with the door from the shining!

Haha! I also just posted on your PTR! Congrats to you!!! Seriously so happy for you guys! You made my day better just reading about it!

We were definitely busy but it didn't feel like it! We were very relaxed and we needed that. My husband is a funny guy and couldn't pass the opportunity up. He's always a group favorite because he can make everyone laugh! :)

Hey everyone!

Quick Note: For anyone who read about my Colorado trip, the place we stayed in had a TERRIBLE flood. If you've heard anything about the flooding in Colorado, Estes Park was one of the places hit hard. I've seen pictures of places we stood just a couple months ago and it just pains me. For anyone on the boards that live in Colorado or were affected in any way by these floods, you are in my prayers.

----

Hope you're enjoying your weekend! We have been blessed with some GORGEOUS weather here in good ol' KC so DH and I have spent many hours outdoors this weekend and getting some things done around the house. I started/finished a project for the room that will be our nursery at some point. Every piece of furniture in that room has been redone by yours truly and I just love doing it! It's so much fun to see the before and after!

It was almost a shame to paint this beauty. We got it for $17 and it's a beautiful table. But, it really is a lot more nursery friendly, which is what we're going for in that room. I told you we were planners! :rotfl:

I finally got my diploma in the mail! Bachelor's of Science for Instructional Technology! I've been waiting on this guy for a year now!

Now, you all know how I love rescuing animals and it's kind of my thing. Well, I ended up rescuing two kittens from my neighborhood last week. We thought them to be siblings and they were infested with fleas. I got rid of the fleas, took them to the vet, and posted an ad on facebook to see if anyone wanted to adopt them. Luckily, someone I knew from high school took interest saying her son wanted a kitten. She ended up adopting both of them together, which just warmed my heart! They named them Oreo (female) and Cocoa (male). Here's the two cuties! They are loving their new home!

DH also got a new job! He starts the 30th and it's a fantastic opportunity for us! I'm so proud of him and am so excited about how great this will be for us.

We went out to celebrate because we really have had a blessed week! We went to our favorite Japanese Steakhouse, much like Teppan Edo.

DISNEY UPDATE!

First of all, it really hit me the other day that we're just over two months away from our Disney trip!! Woot woot! :cool1: I ended giving my phone a Disney makeover. My ringtone is the theme from the Main Street Electrical Parade and my text tone is a "Choo!" that sounds EXACTLY like the train inside the MK that wraps around the park. It makes me smile every time I get a call or text! :woohoo:

Alrighty, Devan and I were trying to figure out what to do about dinner the day of the MVMCP. I posted a question on the facebook group, "You Might Be a Disney Addict If..." and got SO many responses! The most popular food suggestions were Boma, Kona, 'Ohana, Raglan Road, and Whispering Canyon. Well, we already have ADRs at 'Ohana and Kona since we're staying at the Poly and Boma didn't have any early dinner ADRs available. Whispering Canyon had a 2:10 P.M. ADR available which we ended up booking just in case we can't decided on another place. We figure we can always take the boat to MK after that and spend the rest of the day at MK.

I did call to look into the Wishes Dessert Party and they don't release the dates/reservations until 30 days ahead of time. So, I still have a little over a month to decide if I want to try and book that or not. I've read good and bad things about it. Still not quite sure what to do!

We are now practically 70 days away since today is almost over! Can't believe it's coming up that quick! I actually start my vacation away from work in practically 65 days and I cannot wait for that!! It cannot come soon enough!

Anyway, I'm going to get back to watching some football. My 3-0 Chiefs played Thursday so we've been busy getting ready for Fall this weekend.

Have a great week! If you have any thoughts on the Wishes Dessert Party, let me know! It would probably be when just Devan and myself are there which would probably be our first night there as MK has Evening EMH.

Love your plans!! We did wcc last trip, and loved it!! Also, don't worry about the planning party. DH and I are planning as well and aren't expecting yet;)

I'm glad you loved it! I've heard so many good things about Whispering Canyon, plus I LOVE WL at Christmas time. It would give me a good excuse to visit there and see all of their beautiful Christmas decor. :thumbsup2

Haha, I'm glad we're not alone. We're the first in our group of friends to be taking on this adventure and I'm just so excited! I love it when DH sees things and goes, "this would be really cute if we had a girl". :lovestruc: I already have this really cute wall cling that I'm putting in there at some point and we just picked out the color we're going to paint that room for when we officially start turning it into a nursery. It helps me keep my baby craziness in check when we actually discuss it and talk about it. Then, I'm not completely insane by myself! LOL. :rotfl2:

YOU GUYS...

I AM GOING TO DISNEY IN TWO MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!! WAHOOOO!!!!!!!!!

It really hit me today! I was planning out the day we go to MVMCP (which I had to explain to my sister what it was... She said I was adorable :goodvibes)

I just really started getting excited. I even wanted to start packing today but my rational side kicked and and said, "Chrissy... You still have about 55 days until you need to start packing..." To which my DISNEY side responded with

As you all know, I have been battling about the day of MVMCP for awhile now. I wasn't quite sure how we were going to do dinner ect... SO, this is how it is going to go down.

We can go wherever we want in the morning, it's still a free morning. We have a 1:40 P.M. lunch ADR at Kona for 7 (including the Pipsqueak!). I figure if my family wants to hang out in our room for a little while they can. It'll be nice to have a close location nearby for when Pippin gets fussy. With a later lunch ADR it'll still give us plenty of time to rest up before getting to the parks. Devan and I will be getting the park right around 4:00 P.M. to take advantage of all of the festivities. I'm not sure what my family will do. My parents like to take Disney REALLY slowly now and my sister, T, and Pippin will probably just be doing whatever Pip lets them. :rotfl: That way for dinner we can just do a QS (so as not to miss any of the magic) and we can snack around with the complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. YUMM!

I did purchase two things for Pippin to wear while we're at WDW.

I absolutely LOVE them. I purchased the 9 month outfits since he'll be about 8-9 months when we go, but I'm hoping he won't outgrow them. He's apparently a fast growing boy. If they don't fit him I'll be really sad. Oh well, let's not dwell on what might not happen!

Anyway, I'm just starting to get super excited. It seems so close now and it didn't seem close until today! YAY! :cheer2: That's all I really have today. Have a great rest of your weekend, everyone! Hugs! :grouphug:

I'm getting so excited!! We can say NEXT MONTH!

I missed your last couple of updates. I heard the dessert party bookings were released. Did you get a spot? I am still thinking about MVMCP. I might see if my mom can watch the boys and just go with DH and some friends we have in the area. Not too sure if I want to spend the extra money though.

I love the outfts for your nephew!
