A Newbies Dec 2012 PTR

Hi!! My name is Brittany and just to give you a heads up, as the title says, I'm a newbie. I have NEVER planned a trip. I help teach a performing group of kids, so I've gone on several tips, but they have all been planned for me. And this will be the first trip we've taken with just the four of us (Me, DH, DS4, DD2). This whole trip idea came to me like a week or two ago. I just thought it would be amazing for the kids to not only experience Disney, but Disney at Christmas. So we are throwing together a nice weekend trip for Dec 7 - 10 2012.

Since this was a spur of the moment kind of thing we are doing this trip on a pretty small budget. But thanks to some employee discounts and awesome friends, I think that we are going to be able to have an amazing weekend.

The Plan So Far:
Thursday Night we will start our drive from Louisville KY to Orlando FL

Friday early afternoon we will get to our hotel (Maingate Lakeside Resort) and relax for a little while before headed off to enjoy an evening at Epcot

Saturday we have reservations for Hollywood and Vine at 8:05 and then again at Mama Melroses Ristorante Italiano as part of the Fantasmic! Dining package for 1:25. Kinda hoping I can get a later reservation, but I'm gonna stick with it for now.

Sunday we are going to MVMCP

I'm sure this will change several times, but for now this is what I've got

Budget
Hotel: $153.45
Rental Car: $95.80 (Thank you UPSers discount)
Parking at WDW for three days: $45.00
MVMCP: $189.85+tax
Our friend is giving us tickets to the parks so we don't have to worry about that. (Gotta love awesome friends)
