:wave2: Welcome to the May dieting thread (sorry it's a bit late, I literally flew in from Olrando this morning :sad1: )

So, how is everyone getting on ? Was April a good month for you or have you struggled to lose those last few pounds as you start to plateau ?

Well after two weeks aboard the Disney Fantasy with all that fab food and Bahama Mamas at every corner, I will have to get back on the dreaded scales tomorrow morning :scared1:

Welcome to any newbies, it's not too late to join in as there is lots of advice, encouragement and enthusiasm on here ::yes::

Well I've just weighed in and I put on 8lbs, so the diet starts today and I'll be back to zumba tomorrow evening. I'd like to lose most of that 8lbs, but will be happy to get rid of at least 5lbs of it

Im sure youll lose most of that, come weigh in. :)

Im always about a on a diet, even more so now as Ive booked a holiday for next August :cool1:

Sounds like you had a great time. :) can't wait for Charlie to get a little bigger so we can go on the Fantasy.

I'm back on track now and lost 3lb this month, after putting loads back on after Christmas.

I'm determined it will stay off now as it's only 64 weeks till we go :rotfl:
 
Well I lost 1lb this week :)

I think I have about 14lbs more to go til I get back to my happy weight where all my holiday stuff fits :)

Well I lost 1lb this week :)

Totals to date since NY's day is 20.8lb!! Hopefully reach that magic stone and a half next week...fingers crossed. Then marching onwards to the two stone!!

Can i join in with this? I started slimming world again last week and had my first weigh in tonight (on my birthday - no cake until now!) I lost 3.5lb in my first week.
Found it a little difficult as i sturggled to keep weighing milk and cheese and bread, and then checking things i could and couldnt eat! Hopefully next week will be easier!

The more the merrier, of course you can join us, we're all friendly here on the dieting thread. I've found it an extra help and know there's others who I can rant to if having a bad week.

Boooo a stay the same this week for me! I'm disappointed this week if I'm honest, was hoping to hit my stone and a half loss.

I forgot to post that I lost 3lbs of my holiday weight last week. I would be pleased but I feel like I've eaten anything and everything I can lay my hands on. I really need to get back into the swing of things, back for more Zumba tonight. I hope I can get back on track soon ::yes::

That's a great start :)

I lost 2lbs this week :) I struggled a bit the week before so glad to have lost this week.
