That's not a prank -- that's vandalism and destruction of property.I've seen Senior Pranks (super-glue-ing locks, filling sand into an outdoor ampitheater, TP-ing the school), but this doesn't even fall into the same category as a prank. Saturday night, someone - probably several people, cut down over a dozen trees on our HS campus. These trees were each at least 10-12 feet tall. It just makes me sick. We have survellance cameras, but haven't heard if there was anything usable.
Just wanted to moan about it. I'm glad there are only 4 more days 'til school's out.
I don't know where this concept of "senior prank" originated, but schools really need to come down hard on it and make examples of students who partake in these things. All too many of the seniors -- who really are still children, even if they're 18 -- don't have a firm line on where "funny" ends and "vandalism" begins.
