A new Disney Wedding is about Planned!

Good Evening Everyone!!

Well I am pleased to announce that after about a 1 year of lurking I can finally join in on the planning of my Disney Wedding


How it happened:
Well like every year my boyfriend (fiancé) and I woke up and went separately to our parent’s house saying that we would come back later that afternoon to do our gifts. Little did I know my whole family knew that he was going to proposal that afternoon.

Well to make a long story short – we came back to our town home and started to open gifts. My fiancé was sad because I guess I went a little over board this year on gifts. So as we are opening he had me leave one box till the end. Once he had finished opening his gifts, I was allowed to open my last one! As I opened the box he walked over to where I was sitting (of course me being Miss Oblivious I has no idea what was going on.)

When I finally got the box opened, I was starring down at a pair of Minnie Mouse Bridal Ears! I looked over and ask “Why” and that is when he took the neatly wrapped green box out of his pocket and said – “Because of this”..

As I opened my last and most wonderful gift I was shocked, speechless, and of course crying.. Of course I said yes and here I am..

I am penciled for December 6th 2008 @ 2:30pm at the Wedding Pavilion and Reception at the Grand Floridian. I have always dreamed a Disney Wedding and my dreams are finally coming true – I have found my Prince Charming!

Congrats! You are going to LOVE Disney at that time of year for your wedding. My DH and I just got back from our Disneymoon and the weather was absolutely wonderful and the crowds were like nothing. Have fun planning your wedding.

Congratulations! That's sooo exciting! Did you guys discuss before hand that you were going to have a disney wedding? That's really awsome. My DF proposed at Disney, but it took a little extra effort to get him to agree to a dftw. Can't wait to read about all your plans!

PrincessBride010103: That is sooo funny -- I think I called on Wednesday too!!! What a small world! I am very excited -- I almost didn't get it -- because my mom really wanted 5pm, but I talked her into 2:30pm. Congrats on your wedding also.

Goldeelox9: I am planning on doing a Magic Kingdom Photo Shoot -- the morning after the ceremony (Sunday) -- if there is a time slot available. My DF isn't to excited about getting up that early but we made a deal. He is a HUGE Packers Football fan and I told him if he got up early with me that Sunday morning then I would look the other way when he goes to ESPN club to watch football on that Sunday afternoon!
