just tied up the lawn furniture and got the propane tank filled. Candles set out, and matches by each one.

Water bought, food that will not spoil, things we can grill, so what have I missed?

If you have basement bring things to higher ground! I am in same boat! Freaking out here. My mom whom lives with me on oxygen 24/7.... Her oxygen supplier is out of oxygen tanks(YIKES)

As far as flooding goes, I believe we are safe here, we are pretty high, I would guess we would need about 12 or feet of storm surge to get us, but we have brought all the important stuff up, to the third floor.

in my dream world this would just pass and we would be done with this.

But in reality it should hit us the hardest in the morning and then pass around 5pm on Tuesday. They are saying that there is a 75% chance we will lose power and can be out up to two weeks.....

Fingers crossed.... As long as I have cell and network I should be able to connect....

I think that is a safe bet... We should be fine, we have plenty or food and water, plenty of blankets, and candles galore, so we should be ok...
