A new Bump thread!

I went to eat at the Wicked Spoon (at the Cosmopolitan) the other day, and they offered me $5 in free play for my email address. I used it to win $24. That made my day, because I never gamble. DH got the same offer but lost the $5 plus $7 of his own trying to get a bonus, so we still walked out $17 ahead. Score. Too bad dinner with tip was almost $200. Oh well. Bump.

Yes, Kathy. I love the Wicked Spoon Buffet. It is my favorite one, and I have eaten at a lot of them. They serve a lot of seafood and sushi, which I do not like. The people I ate with said it is good there. The desserts are my favorites. Here is a pic I snapped.

The desserts look marvelous!

DH is baking my birthday cake as I write! He uses a special family recipe to make a 1-2-3-4 cake which is something like a butter pound cake. A true treat for me given that I have eaten no sweets for months lately!

We had a sushi dinner last night (one of my favorite) and he will do a baked ham for my birthday dinner tonight! He loves to cook!
