The DIS was extremely slow all weekend. I could barely post at all.

Hope you keep getting better, Anna.

Yep, it was terribly slow all weekend here. I would get excited to get one post off & then it would slow down terribly before I could post again. I did get a message around 8 PM that it wa going off line for an hour. It was back in less time that that & seemed a little better after that. The message also said that the move to the new servers would be in the next 10 days. So maybe there's hope for a faster Dis !!!

Performance did improve a bit this morning but it has been so bad recently compared to a week or so ago

I was shocked to get the message. I think I had submitted a post & was waiting for it to load. Instead I got a blank screen with a few lines from Alex. Stated the Dis would be down for an hour or so & would be going down occassionally in the next week or so as they get ready to migrate to the new servers within the next 10 days. I think there also was a "sorry for the inconvenience & thanks for patience" type line, too.

Never had anything like that pop up before. I was excited to get a message from Alex!! Like he sent it just to me! And happy to know they are still working on the problems.

Well, at least those messages are better than than the ones I sometimes I get on another board asking if I want "love and a friend from Russia"! And this is on a hiking and photography board......

It's cold here too. At least it's sunny. And we'll be back to the 70's soon, right?

OMG I am SO cold today. It's a high of 48 and we were warm last week also. Worse part is I am losing weight and whenever I do that I always get cold.
