My husband's company is paying for us to "do" Disney. What is the one thing (or many things) that you consider a must do for your trip? We are going at peak-season (not our choice but this is when it is being paid for). We don't know much about Disney at all...so I am looking for more of the UNknown things that are special to do. We have a 3 year old...but are also taking a babysitter...so we can have the freedom to do a lot of different types of activities.

Thanks! I'm clueless on Disney right now...but plan to start reading all of the posts to get "caught up" LOL! :thumbsup2

Thanks teacup...but I was hoping for specific things people like to do. Especially things that might not be "public" knowledge. Like way back when, it seemed that riding in the front of the monorail wasn't public knowledge. However, now it seems that everyone knows about that...

These aren't really "unknown" - but the luau at the Polynesian is great fun. Taking an evening carriage ride at the Port Orleans Riverside resort is nice, and enjoyable. Parasailing over Bay Lake is fun. The Richard Petty Driving experience is exhilarating.

I really like taking a stroll on the boarwalk It is fun and great food at night there are a little more adult laid back clubs piano bars that type of thing

I'd say to pick up a cheap guide book

Brinbaum Guides Walt disney world with out kids has a good general over view

I know you have a kid but this to me being a disney nut is more just a look at almost the whole WDW

I picked it up at Barnes&Noble it is a quick read you could even just sit down and read it there

anyway I'm rambling..... take a look at it,it could help you get an idea of what sounds good

Oops sorry OP -

There is also Bob on the piano at POR most evenings, he's terrific! I wish there was a "Bob the piano man" smiley to put in here!:woohoo:

If you are talking "Rides"..
Then I would suggest in the MK do "Mickey's Philharmagic"
in Epcot.. "Soarin" - You just feel so good and happy when you get off of that ride.. (espically with a Fastpass)
Also in Epcot... "Test Track"

Those are my top two..of course there is Big Thunder MT Railroad, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain.. ( for excitement in the MK, use the child swap)

Have a dinner at Chef Mickey's for your three year old.

The campfire and roasting marshmallows at Fort Wilderness is not to be missed. :thumbsup2

Downtown Disney (DTD) some great seafood at Fulton's Crab House and Portobella Yacht Club!! Also a fun adult hangout at night - you must grab a drink at the Adventurers Club. Make sure to visit all the parks!! You are sure to find attractions everywhere on Disney property that fit your fancy!! Have fun:thumbsup2
