I have never once violated the disney mug law and refilled an old mug or at another resort, but I really don't think is such a big deal or think that Disney cares that much either. If they get oppressive with the regs, mug sale will drop off. I can get thermal mugs imprinted in qt for .65 and I am sure Disney gets them for less, say .50 This gives them a 2600 percent markup on that sale. It costs .04 cents per refill, perhaps less with the Disney buying power. That means they don't lose money until that individual mug is refilled 311 times. There is no way it would even last that long. I probably average about 3 refills per day so it will take 104 days for me to break even. College textbooks have a 25 to 33 percent markup for bookstores and threads lament the rip-off that represents, yet we are all wanting to help Disney police the mugs and maintain a 2600 percent markup. Lets focus our efforts on something that matters.

As I say, I don't break the rules, but I also don't lose sleep that Exxon will go out of business if I take 2 of the drink coupons off the cooler instead of just the one. I mean they are barely gettin by on that 4.50 cent gas. Life gets really messy if you don't have your priorities in order.

Everyone who uses the "it's not a big deal" argument to break rules drives up costs for people who follow them or detracts from their experience. Pool hopping is another practice I don't like, I'm paying a premium amount to stay at a resort, if others can use my pool (and crowd it) for free then I'm subsidizing their fun. If everyone does it, what then?

Adults should know how to get through life without cheating or cutting corners, besides it sends a message to kids that it is ok if you can get away with it.

EXACTLY! Just because you can shouldn't mean you should!! Life your life on principals and you'll find yourself so much happier in the long run.
