My DW & I ( Celebrating 30 years of Marraige this Summer:love:), sailed on the April 20th Magic 5-night (Key West, Nassau, CC) Cruise. Well half way to Key West Captain Robert informs us of Haevy weather and 50 knot winds.
We headed back toward Nassau. I did learn later at the CC get together that, they were going to try to go to CC instaed of our day at Sea. Unfortunately the winds were still above 35 knots. The Captain and Crew did manage to keep us in the Sun almost all of our Sea Day.:worship: We docked bright and early in Nassau, followed by the Disney Dream an hour later. It was so cool seeing her docked right next to us.:cool1: We had another great day in Nassau. Then it was off to CC for our Beach Day. A big AT-A-BOY to Captain Robert for getting us to the dock, despite the almost 30 knot winds.
I am now 11 for 11 at Cataway Cay:dance3: The day was a 10. Not a cloud in the sky and a cooling sea breeze.

But I digress, that was not the Magical part. This was our first Platinum CC Cruise. One of the perks is boarding spot # 1.:thumbsup2 So on the boat we went, off to Topsiders for a grat lunch of Shrimp, Salmon and fresh fruit. Then off the Quiet Cove Pool for a swim and some sun. It was around 1:30, the DW was cacthing some rays and I was watching the Newbies as the checked out the Pool. I noticed these three people coming down the stairs from deck 10, waving at us. Thier T-shirts said HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM & DAD. It was our kids, I could not belive my eyes. I leaned over to the DW and said Oh by the way your children are here. We were both so surprised.:yay::yay::yay: We hd no Idea they were coming. Needless to say it was the best Anniversary Present ever. We had a great cruise.
Thanks Again Kids,:dance3:

Love Mom & Dad.

How did they pull that off!!!! :thumbsup2 Too fun!!! Did you get your dinning linked too? Awesome>

That is awesome!!!

Best surprise ever I bet!!

We sailed the Magic in January with our children and our 2 grandchildren. It was the most wonderful family vacation ever!!!!

HAPPY 30th!

What a nice surprise that your kids sailed, too! DH and I were on that cruise--it was a great time.

Hey just saw this post. We were also on this very cruise. We were disapointed not to be able to go to Key West but the rest of the cruise was amazing. Didn't know about the captain trying to get us to Castaway Cay on our day at sea. That would have been awesome to go there twice on the same cruise. Regardless of the weather on our forst day, our day at Nassau and Castaway were amazing. It was a beautiful day. It was our 3rd time on the Island and by far our most fun. We rented bikes and went snorkling. Our kids loved it especially since our 8 year old just learned to ride on her own. But most of all, I am so thankful to our captain for bringing the ship in to the Island especially since the winds were above 30 knots that morning. Looking forward to our next cruise. But this one was def one to remember.
