For Am EMH at Epcot,they are letting Guests through the turnstiles early and holding them at a rope just before Spaceship Earth until 8:00 AM when they drop the rope and everybody "stampedes" for Soarin' just like the good ole days.

Last week we were held on the other side on a non EMH morning when we were heading towards TT.

Why can't they get this right? It is so much safer with gradual entries thru the turnstiles rather than the old rope drop.

It did. For those who have fast pass for the one but run to the other and vise Versa. Lol. So no it didn't. Lol

This is crazy. It was so nice last year when they just let you in at 8 and everyone walked to whatever ride. This is so dangerous.
Are they doing the same at all of the parks. I think MK is the worse because of the limited space to get under the railroad.

The only park we experienced this at was Epcot. Our first day was at MK on the 4th of July. I was fully expecting rope drop craziness but it was actually very pleasant entering the park. We even stopped for a photo pass pic (so glad we did, it was our best group pic of the week).

They are doing a version of this again in AK. Letting you into the Oasis early and then holding a rope drop to get into the rest of the park. Again, not a good call.
