A message from my dead Father?

I've always believed this as well, especially after my Mom passed away back in July of 2001. I told a few people, but quickly stopped mentioning it, since I could tell by the awkward silence that they didn't agree. Maybe you have to have experienced it firsthand to understand!

I've always believed in things like that. I've had some strange things happen since my mom passed away almost 3 years ago that I believe are signs from her

A very similar thing happened with my grandfather's watch shortly after he died too....my grandfather suffered with Alzheimer's for a while before he passed away. He always wore a watch even though it was broken. My grandmother kept trying to tell him it didn't work but he didn't understand and he would never take it off. After the wake was over, the funeral director gave my grandmother the watch and rings that my Grandfather had been wearing and the watch was working! It was the first time in years that watch had worked and my grandmother asked the funeral director if he had fixed it somehow. He swore he didn't, so we figured it was my grandfather.

Sometimes, even the most "mundane" things can be signs from our loved ones that have passed that they're still watching out for us. :hugs:

Oh yes, I definitely believe in these occurances.

My mother in law passed away 11 years ago. Her birthday is March 9.

Well, on March 8 my DH came home and said his watch had stopped. I took it to the jeweler who said there was nothing wrong with the battery. The next day it started working again. On March 9th my watch stopped. Again, nothing wrong with the battery. It has been working fine every since. Coincidence?

I have many stories like this - but usually no one here believes they are true.

I also feel that my grandmother is close by when I see a butterfly or a dragonfly. When I got married a dragonfly started flying around me and landed on my bouquet and stayed there a few mins before leaving and then a butterfly started flying around me. Ever since I really like butterflys and dragonflys.

What a great story OP! I completely believe in signs and have received many from my grandmother who passed away in 2000. She was a very spiritual person. My father even receives signs from her, usually in the area of scents. She really liked to cook and once in a while he is awakened by the smell of blueberry pancakes like she made. Also I was on my way to see a medium and I "talked" to my grandmother. We had a butterfly thing when she was alive. So I told her what I was doing, and if she could somehow mention butterflies then I'd know she was talking to me. Sure enough 1/2 way through the session the medium said "your grandma wants me to talk about butterflies". I could go on and on.....but you understand and I hope you continue to believe and keep your eyes open for these wonderful signs.
