A Map of MGM f/1994

I was cleaning my closet out and I came upon a MGM map of when I was there spring 1994. I couldnt believe how MGM looked back then. ToT was opening until fall of 1994. The Beauty and the Beast Show was back by the Muppets and the Christmas store. A character meal cost $12.99 for an adult, and Disney had an Aladdin parade in the afternoon. Its just amazing how much has changed in 12 yrs!

How cool!! I wish they could've kept an Aladdin parade! That would be awesome! Although Stars & Motorcars parade is very cool too.

Wow! My first trip was a year later (1995)....it's weird to think how much has changed.

My dad recently gave me a copy of a 1989 map from our trip back then. The park opened in May and we went in July. Just about all there was back then was the Indy show, GMR, the backlot tour (back then it was so cool to see the Golden Girls house!) and the animation tour.

I wish I had scanned it into my computer but I just gave the scanner to my MIL who needed to use it!

I have guide maps going all the way back to MK opening day. You talk about MAJOR changes over the years. I can remember in 1976 I went with my 3 girlfriends for the first time by myself and we stayed at the Contemporary Main bldg. with all our dinner shows and food for 7 days + airfare & Park entrance (MK was the only park back then) for a wopping price of $179.00 (I saved all my receipts from that trip) unbelievable. Now all these years later and 60+ trips under my belt, we are DVC owners and still we still love going despite of all the price increases.

I have one from 1993 somewhere and it's so crazy to see how much wasn't developed at the time. I love how much Disney grows and changes.

I think if I really dug I could find books that had the maps, even DTD when it just was Pleasure Island and Market place.

DH has a map from when MGM opened.......talk about some changes!!!!!

Epcot map is the one to look at from when it first opened and MK.
