A MAGICAL Columbus Day Cruise Texas style 10/6/2012

VGT.. Veranda guaranteed room..
so.. we know will get a veranda.. just will not know which room until about 10 days before the cruise. The room price was terrific.

We are doing the Moby dick snorkel/stingray tour... someone mentioned doing an island tour first.. might be a good idea. I think our snorkel trip is 9am.. wonder if I can change that.

Our daughter is 12.. is looking forward to playing with some new friends.
She can hang with the younger girls or the older girls..
:flower3:

Looking forward to the FE fun..

My son is in second grade (almost 8 yrs old)!

:earsboy:

Great! My son will be happy there is a boy he can play with! I was not sure how many school aged kids would be on our ship - glad there will be several!

I just found out my assignment last week - but I did an agent rate GTY - I found it by logging into my Castaway Cay account so you might check to see if anything is showing up - I have clients on the following cruise and they do not have assignments yet.

Just a thought, would it be a problem if we divided our fish extender groups into two groups? It is getting a little unmanageable for me with 30 rooms. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Mal

I did the agent thing too and I have a cabin number when I log in, but I was told that it could change anytime up until sailing. I just thought I would give you a head's up.pirate:

I started making stuff for the kids today. I counted 40 so far. I thought about passing out trinkets to them, and candy to the whole family. I just can't imagine making 100+ sombreros, origami sting rays, etc.! My fingers are hurting already just thinking about it!

As everyone knows our FE is getting pretty large so I am going to ask should we split it up? If yes where should it be split at? I already have multiple gifts for everyone but could save some for my next cruise:) just let me know what you think. Thanks

Welcome to all our new members.Hope everyone is getting excited :cool1:.Looks like our little group has grown.Mal I was wondering how I was going to manage to carry all the fe stuff on the ship with all the rooms we have now, lol. My thought would be maybe the 1st 15 cabins as one group and the 2nd 15 as a second group. If people wanted to do both groups, then they can be added to both lists? Not sure what does everyone else think?

Thanks for the suggestion. Sounds perfect to us.:wave2:

I was told the same thing, but they said chances are good we will not move and be down on deck 2 forward - I prefer the one big portal myself, but am not complaining - I would take a storage closet for the rate...:rotfl2:

I got my documents today! The kids will be thrilled when they get home from the first day of school!

we've made 50-60 FE gifts so we will give to all if possible to have all the list. my kids will probably drop them in everyones anyhow!

i AM OK WITH WHATEVER EVERYONE ELSE WANTS TO DO. If we split the FE up I could probably do better gifts then if we keep it all one big group. Either way my family will participate. I have of course put off making my FE gifts so I have NO idea what I am doing yet.....however we are driving to Atlanta, GA on Thursday so I have 11 hours to think about it!!! :rotfl2: Also is everyone still ok with the DIS meet time on embarkation day at 2:30? I just realized that you can embark onto the ship up until 4 and would not want anyone to miss the DIS meet......let me know what you think!! We have a port arrival time of 12 so we should be on the ship by 12:30 I am guessing.

Our daughter loves her WDW countdown calendar so much, that I made a Disney Cruise Countdown Calendar today. Can you believe that we only have 40 more days?! This is our first cruise and we are like children at Christmas!

Here it is...

We should be okay with the meeting time, but I see what you mean about people missing the meeting. That would be a shame.

We live outside of Atlanta! Welcome to Hotlanta fellow Texan!

What an adorable countdown calendar!

I have no preference on splitting the FE group as I haven't started yet :lmao:

Anyone evacuating for Isaac?

I messaged her about that, I think she was up for it but wanted suggestions on how to divide it. Anyone done split FE before?
