A MAGICal Christmas Holiday 12/21/14

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list pixiedust:
Have a great cruise!

We just booked our Christmas 2014 cruise!
Let the Magic begin!:woohoo:

YAY!!!!!! Someone joined! I was lonely, lol.

Can't wait to spend Christmas on the ship! I'm a single mom traveling with my son who will be 7 then. How about you guys?

There will be six of us in two staterooms:
Brian- Dad
Margaret- Mom
Emily- Age 14
Jack- Age 8
Will- Age 5
Geneva- Age 2

Are you planning on doing fish extenders? We have done them on previous cruises and they are a lot of fun.

Yes. I've done them on both of our previous cruises. We have one on the Fantasy coming up but I refuse to do it on such a large ship. Will be happy to on the Magic....especially at Christmas!!!! :cool1:

Yea! We are looking forward to our first cruise on the Magic! We have done three on the Wonder (two Caribbean and one Alaska) and are looking forward to checking out the Magic after the refurb.

We've done 2 DCLs. A 7 night Mexican Riviera and a 14 night Hawaii. Both were on the Wonder. We have the Fantasy coming up in Jan and the Wonder in about a year for Alaska.

Hello there...

I haven't yet booked our rooms yet - I'm waiting till I board the Dream in 39 days - but we just decided to do Disney for Christmas next year.. I am soo excited. I thought the cruise would have that less crowed feeling then the parks (keep my fingers crossed). We will probably occupy 3 rooms and will comprise of my Mom, Older Sister, Younger Sister, Grandparents, Aunt and of course me...

Can't wait to really start planning (actually have to get through this Christmas first lol)...

Yeah we gotta get through this one first but my plans for this Christmas are boring! :). It will be fun to plan this!

Just moved our dummy date to this one! There will be 4 of us in 2 cabins.

Tom - DH
Becky - DW
Emma - DD 16
Dottie - DD 13

This will be our 4th Disney cruise, our 2nd on the Magic. We've also cruised the Wonder in Alaska and the Fantasy. Can't wait to see all the new things on the Magic!

Welcome! :)

I know what you mean. We are booked in an 11B and although I tend to move up categories over time, I doubt that will happen this time. Oh well. We will be too busy with all of the holiday activities anyway. Really looking forward to it! :)

It was a bit of a shock, but a better price than an Eastern on the Fantasy that week. And we'll be able to enjoy all the renovations to the Magic. It will be like being on a new ship!

luv, you are going to love the Grand Californian! We've stayed there 3 times. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel and so convenient to both parks. We always got a theme park view room. My favorite view was the one overlooking Condor Flats and Grizzly River Rapids. Have fun!

Thanks! I could only manage a woods view room. I've never stayed there. Really looking forward to it. Will be nice to enjoy the resort.

I know, I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that. The boys really wanted to go on the Fantasy, I told them when we hit power ball.....that didn't happen!! :)

The design and theming throughout the resort are just superb. The hotel has it's own entrance into DCA, which is really nice. We usually ate breakfast at Whitewater Snacks. There is a fun character breakfast with Chip and Dale in the main restaurant. The pool has a good waterslide. I really liked stepping out of the hotel right into DTD. Talk about complete immersion.

LOL! We were on the Fantasy last summer and the cost for the same category stateroom on the Christmas cruise was more than double what we paid last summer. :scared1:

Yes the Fantasy is crazy! Was so happy to see the Magic come up!

I've stayed at PPH and love using that entrance! It's going to be great! We have 3 nights. Really looking forward to it.

Can we watch WOC from inside the hotel somewhere? I remember hearing that.
