My family and I will be going to WDW from Saturday, September 10th, until Saturday, September 17th. We are so excited that it's less than a month away!! 
First off, I thought I should explain the PTR name. In January 2010, my aunt invited me to go on an 8 day Caribbean cruise, already paid for, which I gladly accepted. My other aunt then thought that my eight year old brother, then six, might be a little jealous, so she asked my mom if she'd want to go to Disney for the weekend with her and my two cousins. My mom, a Disney lover, jumped at the chance to go back to The Happiest Place on Earth, and off they went. My mom told us when her and my brother got back from their trip that on their last day, before going to the airport, she was holding DB's hand walking out of Magic Kingdom when he pulled on her hand, looked up at her with tears in his eyes and said, "Look at me Mom, I'm cryin' here!" We thought that was so adorable that we laugh about it all the time. I thought it would be a great PTR name since we all keep saying that we're going to cry out of excitement when we finally get there, and cry when we have to leave to go home. I'm sure there will be many mentions of, "Look at me Mom, I'm cryin' here!" this trip.
Now, let me introduce my crazy family.
DMom, Margaret, 45: She's absolutely hilarious and is always a hoot to be around.
She's definitely a kid at heart and loves to have fun. Not only is she such a fantastic mom (the best a kid could ask for) but she's also a great friend, so it'll be just like I brought one of my friends from school along, only she can yell at me. 
DDad, Mark, 44: If DM is a kid at heart, then DD is a toddler. He has a sophomoric (as he likes to call it) sense of humor and never stops trying to make you laugh. I can already tell that we're going to be in stitches the whole week because of him.
Me, Kate, 16: I'll be a junior in high school this year, so this is pretty much the last big trip I'll take as a 'kid' with my family, so this is a big deal. I like to think of myself as an easy-going type of person.
The greatest compliment I've ever received was when someone told me that they like being around me because I'm so laid-back and go-with-the-flow. I think that's an awesome quality to have and I'm so glad that people think that about me. I'm a nerd at heart, being in the marching band at my high school, drama club, speech team, in all honors, the list goes on. But I love to have fun and am looking forward to this trip immensely!
DBrother, Ryan, 8: That kid is a riot. He has impeccable timing and says things that will make you cry with laughter. Although sometimes I'd like to lock him in a closet, I still love him dearly and I cannot wait to see how much fun he's going to have in Disney.
We'll be staying at the Beach Club Resort the entire time and we're so excited. This trip started with us staying and Port Orleans French Quarter, which I was very excited about since I got to go to Memphis and New Orleans last March over Spring Break with the band at my school and I absolutely loved it down there so I thought saying at POFQ would be awesome. Well then DM said she wanted to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge at Club Level, so we were all set on changing. Then DM decided she actually wants to stay at Beach Club, so once again, we all changed where we are staying. DB and I looked at the pool at Beach Club, and we were sold! Well, DM still was not happy, but after she told us she wanted to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge again
, we told her, "No way, Jose!" She will not change her mind again! So we are, for sure, staying at the Beach Club Resort.
We leave exactly one month from yesterday and we can't wait!!
