I was just looking over some FW photos at another web site and saw one that said something like "The one and only cabin at FW." This was NOT one of the big log homes that hold 6 or 7 people but looked like one of those little KOA-type cabins; would be one room inside and probably have a double bed and bunks - just bare bones/no frills.
Does anyone know if this still exists or was a thing of the past?...if it's still there do you know what loop it's in or how to go about getting it?!!!

Thanks again...

it is on fort property but is not available, if you head out back of loop 300 there is a path near bay lake, the cabin is locate in this area, its not used for anything that i'm aware of.

Oh, rats...that's a bummer!! The initial photo I saw had a conversion type van parked in front of it, and there were no bars on the door. But it sure looks now like it's not being used! That's really too bad. We have used this type of cabin at KOA Kampgrounds and they are really handy.
Thanks for the replies!!

it used to be located in loop 1200 and it was rented out. I think it has/had bunks - very rustic.

Wow ... just ask, and you get a pic and lots of info.

Is this forum great or what !!! ?????

BTW, this is a great place to watch the MK fireworks if you can stand the bugs.

... or did someone say that already ... ???

John
