A Little YC trivia.....

I just got back last night from a wonderful stay at the YC. I just really love staying there, it's so convenient.

We stayed in room 5239 which was nice, but at the complete opposite end of the fifth floor from the Concierge Lounge and elevators (a very long walk).

Anyway yesterday morning while I was packing, I was looking at the sailboats on the bedspreads and I noticed a racing yacht which caught my eye and looked familiar. I looked closer and sure enough, it's Roy Disney's boat "Pyewacket". The name is written on the back of the boat. So I guess Disney had the bedspreads custom made !!

Just another bit of info - all of WDW's bedspreads are custom made.

The bedspreads were so cute! I noticed that the Disney Wonder is outlined in the background of the bedspread.

As I recall, the last time that I stayed at POR, ( when it was still Dixie Landings ), the drapery had Disney characters on them.
The drapery was so pretty, i got a close-up picture of them.

The name "Pyewacket", I think was also the name of a cat owned by Witches in the old movie "Bell, Book, and Candle", which starred Jimmy Stewart. I always liked that name.
