A little pd for my nephew?

He'll be two the end of May. He was born with a faulty valve in his heart, and has had two heart surgeries (one when he was days old). He is supposed to have his third and final surgery sometime in May or early June. This surgery will effectively close off one side of his heart, and he will live the rest of his life with 1/2 a heart to do the work of his whole heart. The prognosis is good. However, to complicate matters, he is having major problems with his teeth. He has about 5 cavaties and his four front teeth are cracked. He needs the front teeth removed and his cavities filled. Due to his heart condition, this needs to be done at Children's, and the waiting list is long. His cardiologist is pulling strings to get this done quickly. The longer it delays, the worse his conditions becomes. He's not eating, and his body is fighting the infection in his teeth, when it should be building his strength for the upcoming heart surgery.

Please pray that he can get these teeth fixed promptly so he can continue to gain strength for his next heart surgery. He needs the heart surgery asap because his heart is losing strength. His little hands and feet are so cold and blue.

Thanks for the offers of prayers, that's what's got him through so far. Yes, his parents (my sister and bil) are scared, but hopeful. Talking to my sister is like talking to a doctor. She knows so much about the heart it's amazing. They have good insurance, but the cost is still mounting. The teeth stuff probably won't be covered on insurance because it's dental, but in the hospital.

A good friend of mine has a daughter that is 2 and she is going to have her 3rd heart surgery in two weeks. She was born with only half her heart, and will always only have just half her heart. She is doing fantastic , and I know in my heart that your little nephew is going to fantastic too!!
